I'm just saying what I would do.

Unless being disrespectful to LE most times they will give a fix it ticket.

I live in a one tag State.

Hello Mach Vll, I like the placement of yours and Bikeman’s plates. How does your bracket attach? Thanks

jeff
Here’s the bracket mounted to my bumper. There is a thumbscrew that removes and the plate bracket screws onto it. Easy peasy.

I do too and I’m great full for it. But checkout where OP is from. Those CHP folks can be a tad difficult at times.

Ok is this a particular type or model of bracket Craig offers, or are all their brackets the same? I want what you have. If they offer different types can you please give me the name/description or a model number? Thanks Bikeman.

So he only lists one bracket for the 18-20 cars. He also shows a bracket for the 15-17 Roush's but not for the 18-20's. If you have a standard front bumper you're gold. I would still call to make 100% sure. I've spoken to Craig. Really good guy.

My state doesn’t do the front plate bs, but I spend a lot of time in states that do and I see a lot of guys with the plate on the dash jammed into the base of the windshield.

I installed this Sto-N-Sho bracket on my PP2.
Very pleased with it. No drilling, just replace a couple of factory splitter screws with longer screws supplied with the bracket. 5 minute install. There's a little mounting bracket that attaches under the splitter.
Pull the pin and slide the plate out if you don't want it on the car.
It scrapes now and then, but not many other choices.

When I lived in OH I never had a front plate. Never got messed with.

I am in KY and the last time I visited family in MN I got pulled over for no front tag. I just laughed at the Cop.

I've got the Sto-n-Show license plate bracket on mine. I like the way the two rails slide into a block and is either removed or installed by pulling a spring loaded pip pin to release the rails. It only takes a few seconds to either install or remove it.

I did a few changes to the mounting hardware. The front screw picks up a belly pan fastener and the rear has a large self tapping screw. The font screw is a very small diameter screw. I was afraid of high wind loads would possibly cause me to lose my front plate. I used a rivnut in the location where the self tapping screw would go. It's much more secure now with a bolt.

Thanks guys for all the input very much appreciated. When I discovered there was nothing but plastic under the grill I was very skeptical about mounting this fold-away job I bought. Not to mention I’ve got Steeda lowering springs and this thing would reduce my clearance even further.
I visited the Craig site and am still unclear if their plates are a fit for me. I don’t know if it makes any difference but I also have a Roush phase 2 package and I think they may have changed out the stock PP1 radiator for a larger one when they installed it? Other than that it’s a stock gt front end grill. Thanks.
Jeff
Jeff, I have a 2019 Stage 3 car. You need the Sto N Go license plate holder. We have a mandatory front plate in the state of MA, but I only put it on when going in for the yearly inspection sticker process.

This is what you need. So easy to use and is out of the way. Perfect.
