A while back went from 19” to 20” front and back. Tires went from 255 to 275 front.

I recently noticed a pretty aggressive camber on the front and saw some signs of cupping on the tires.

I can’t remember what it was like before going to the 20” all I know the first tires lasted a long time without issues.

So I was planning to get an alignment done but when searching around I came to the conclusion that it’s not even possible to adjust the front camber on these cars.

Leaves me with some questions obviously, it really isn’t possible and what could be the cause of the camber if it’s not adjustable.

Lowering springs will increase camber. You can get crash bolts (camber bolts) or camber plates if you feel the need to adjust the front. The rear camber is adjustable but a pain to do.

That’s the thing I haven’t lowered it, only changed wheel size.

How many miles, how do your ball joints look, tie rods, wheel bearings etc....sometimes new parts, including wheels, really highlight an existing issue.

Interested to hear what you find.

the amount of "toe" has as much if not more impact on tire wear then camber. So if you want the biggest bang for a non tracked mustang, get a set of crash bolts and have the camber set to 1.25 -1.5 deg and adjust the toe to 0 deg. if you live in an area with lots of curves get it as close to the 1.5 as you can, (even more if the camber bolt will let you. )

Agree. Except the 0 toe. Makes the front end feel to floaty on highway driving. I add .03 toe in max. Made a big difference in long distance driving comfort.
