L is for 2020, M is for 2021 and N is for 2022, looks like 2450 2020's, 1600 2021's and 1000 2022's. so about 5000 total HPPs in three years. I wonder if there are more Shelbys?
I love the lighter weight of the TSWs. And the silver wheels on the blue car are good. They are a little pricey without a good sale. I got mine whne they were obsoleting the Interlagos design so they were relatively cheap, under $1000 for four. There are several light weight wheel brands so...
But the SCCA does use the Pro solo index and the 2022 index is out.
FS 0.809
DS 0.803
This accounts for the national results where the BS 2nd place 1LE was 1.7 seconds ahead of the #1 DS time. The BS #4 Shelby was 1.5 seconds ahead of the #1 DS Type R. Both times were ahead of the #1 FS M3...
I have over 170 autocross runs and 80 minutes of track time in the 15,700 miles I have put on the car. Only one warranty issue the fmic foam gasket in between the IC and radiator slumped down. Easy fix. No rattles or other issues. Only thing that really has me asking what was Ford engineering...
I have put about 40 autocross runs on the RT660s and they are very fun. One observation is that I was coming back from a dry autocross into a storm that dropped over 5 inches of rain in one day and they worked pretty well on the highway at 70. Just my 2 cents.
What is funny about the move of the GT350 and the 1LE is that the Pax will be lower for them than DS, where the ecoboost resides, and the Type R rules. Ecoboost faster than gt350 in an autocross? The stock classification committee has an impossible task pleasing everyone. Any change will...
For #3 in freeway mode yes. In autocross on sticky tires there is a high probability of oil getting whipped around by the crankshaft. I see 1.2 lateral/braking Gs with Falkens. See Walt's post on the NĂĽrburgring Mustang. So for high performance (autocross/track) drivers a catch can is...
I weighed my wheels at 59 pounds each and the Pirellis are supposed to weigh 27 each so, yes 32-33 is a more accurate weight. My TSW Interlagos weighed 21.5 (2) and 22.5(2) so I average them at 22. So a seven pound reduction for the forged wheels looks pretty good.
Not as light as one would think. What I remember from some internet forum is about 25-26 pounds each. They will be very strong but not as light as aftermarket rolled rims. My TSW 19X9.5 averaged 22 lbs each. Other lightweight 18X9 rims weigh as low as 18-19 lbs. I would not really trust my...
The one time I checked the actual part numbers at the dealer in 2020 for the HPP versus standard ecoboost I could not find a difference. There must be a difference between them due to the compression difference and it is probably the head gasket. Since the RS motors had a problem with the...
According to the Ford Tech Specs 2021 the HPP engine is still made in Valencia. The tech specs also say the HPP get the 19X9 forged wheels. I also believe that we needed to get the handling package to get the Torsen in 2020. The 2020 tech specs had a few errors, might still have a few for...
Just a good estimate. Mine #1088 was built in Feb 20. The highest number I have seen in the voluntary hpp registry in 6g was a 2200 number bought in Nov 2020 after the model year changeover to 21s.
Yes but only about 2500 eco boosts were hpp out of more than 50,000 eco boosts. All of the regular ecos were built in Cleveland OH. Must be the Chinese MT-82s. If the A-10s are built in the US them I think they made a mistake.
