So I’m getting my 20x10 +40 with 305/35/20 put on my car right now and it’s still in the air but I can tell it’s going to be sticking out just a very little bit (I think it’s because of the tire size, because Erica +40 offset it shouldn’t be sticking out at all or am I work??)… I’ve seen discussion about adjusting camber to help with the fitment to try and make it more flush, can anyone elaborate on how it works?

I'm assuming this is a rear wheel?

A 305 tire fits well with a +52 offset (on an 11" wheel). Why the heck did you get a 10" ET40 wheel if you wanted to mount a 305 tire in the first place?

Yeah camber can help some, but IDK man. There's a camber adjustment in the rear suspension but it isn't really marked, just a bolt through a slotted hole. Look it up, its pretty far inboard. If use more than ~2° of camber you might start losing rear grip from too much camber. Good luck.

Yeah I figured they just finished and lowered it and idk if it’s because it was jacked but it doesn’t look bad at all it’s barely at all sticking out but also the wheels I got I couldn’t find any 11’s in stock were all on backorder

barely like literally about a cm past flush can’t even tell unless you’re standing directly beside them so it’ll do for now

Makes sense. The difference between normal offsets for 11" wheels and 305 tires and the 10" et40 is ...drumroll please... 1 cm (offsets are measured in mm and ET50-ET40 = 10mm).

Camber can shift it a little father inboard.

I think the 305 on a 10" wheel is causing bulge. A 275 or 285 would probably be more agreeable for the stance you want on those wheels without adding a bunch if camber.
