I hydroplaned into a curb and busted the right rear suspension. They replaced everything in the rear except the axle. ... This happened on July 8th ... Went the entire summer without my car.

Crimeneez. If that happened to me, I'd use it as an excuse to mod the suspension and do the work myself. I'm slow, but I'm not that slow.

I'm as frustrated and pissed off as I can get with mess. I'm tired of arguing with the insurance company and bodyshop. Looked at it Friday, hood was not right and they had not replaced the tire yet, said they could not find one, I had to tell them where to get one. Going on 6 weeks and they couldn't google the tire and order one. I'll wait for the next phone call and be disappointed again. I may just go trade it when I finally do get it back, maybe on a focus or something that won't hurt my feelings so bad if it get frigged up.

Given my own experience and my brother's experience with deer (mine against an 87 CRX HF, my brother's against a 73 Charger), I swear that deer aren't the peaceful, timid herbivores we usually think.

They've got a dammed grudge! In my brother's case, the thing tried to shoulder-tackle his passenger-side fender, and kept running along with the car and shoving against it until it ran off in the other direction. Given the impact, I wouldn't be surprised if numerous bones were broken on contact, but the damned deer kept right on trying to "win" some sort of fight it thought it was having for a few seconds.

I swear, it's almost like some of them have a roid-rage thing going...

I'm BACK! My long lost pony came back today. Picked it up from body shop this morning. So far have not found anything wrong. I will give it a good bath tonight and look it over again, luckily they give a lifetime warranty on all there work.
