Freaking pedal cover

Okay.. I seem to have an issue replacing my clutch pedal cover with the original after taking off the clutch pedal extender. What’s the trick? this stupid ….is beyond irritating.
I hate stuff that should be simple, that isn’t.

The trick is to boil the pedal cover in hot water and then it should slip on much easier.

Yep, heat the F out of it! It was a PITA for me.

Great idea with the hot water. I expounded on it as I looked over at my heat gun. Voila. I trimmed the pedal molding because there were some inconsistencies, added some pool lube and ran a tiny screwdriver around the edge. Finally..Thanks guys. Crazy.

I used a pick to pull the rubber to fit on the pedal.

Definitely a PITA.

I had to take them out and reinstall them. Warm water worked good. I ended up installing SRP pedals! Great upgrade for a decent price

Sorry was replying to the Original Poster... Sounds like he removed his extender. I LOVE mine as well....
