Your dealer has the ability to get a hold of the transport company and tag it as hot. That should get it on the next transport. I reached out to the transport company myself and got a hold of the dispatcher. I greased the skids with an amazon gift card.

I’ve been told by my salesman, who happens to be the GM, mark it hot. He said he did. If he did I would think the car should arrive Monday. We shall see.
Unfortunately I don’t know who the transport company is. I’m not above offering incentives that’s for sure.

You just have to call a few car haulers around the railyard and one of them should be able to tell you who hauls the Fords. That is what I did, then I just contacted the dispatcher and he got the car on the next trailer going in my dealers direction. He even called me when it was dropped off.

I did the same with my car on Earl's suggestion and got my car within a couple of days.

Mine sat at the rail yard for 2 weeks. Drove me crazy. Car was absolutely filthy when I got it. Yes it had seen the rain but never driven in it. Probably no worse than when we wash it. First stop after we took delivery was the detail shop where it spent another week + getting pretty. Worth the wait but still drove me crazy.

The GM told me today that a truck has been assigned to get the car. His response to my question as to when it would arrive at the dealership was in a day or two. Looks like I will get the car next week since I am traveling out of town tomorrow evening.

When I called the transport company to play nice, they said pound sand and the dealership was the only one who could persuade them to move it along.

I may go by there tomorrow and see if the car is still sitting in the same spot for lack of anything else to do.

I am not too wrapped around the axle due to the fact it is a MSRP deal and I did not think I would even get a 2020. So after more than 5 weeks in the black hole at the plant, what's a few more days. After all, I would not get to enjoy the car for the next week anyway.
