Found my GT500 at the Railyard

The GM told me today that a truck has been assigned to get the car. His response to my question as to when it would arrive at the dealership was in a day or two. Looks like I will get the car next week since I am traveling out of town tomorrow evening.

When I called the transport company to play nice, they said pound sand and the dealership was the only one who could persuade them to move it along.

I may go by there tomorrow and see if the car is still sitting in the same spot for lack of anything else to do.

I am not too wrapped around the axle due to the fact it is a MSRP deal and I did not think I would even get a 2020. So after more than 5 weeks in the black hole at the plant, what's a few more days. After all, I would not get to enjoy the car for the next week anyway.

You are better off to keep the "is what it is" attitude, like you are doing. I get the angst to want it home, but as you mentioned at this point it's really not gonna change things too much.

When I ordered my 2010 I had a similar thing happen. Car was a week late from the estimated date. It showed up the day I was headed to Turkey. Got the call while I was sitting in the airport. My trip was scheduled for 9 days and ended up being almost 9 weeks before I made it back. that was a rough 9 weeks.

Yep, that beats the heck out of sitting in the railyard or worse, stuck in some OTHER railyard, HK. As Jamie said, now you know she's there and hopefully indoors until you return.

Your dealer has the ability to get a hold of the transport company and tag it as hot. That should get it on the next transport. I reached out to the transport company myself and got a hold of the dispatcher. I greased the skids with an amazon gift card.
