Hello guys so let me start with small intro to the matter, i bought a FA500 and installed it in my car 14k back 9 k front had a shop install them and even competed on the local time attack and missed the podium by a fraction over all was happy with the result.
The issue is i sent the car for corner balancing which the shop did an awesome job getting me 50% cross and almost 50% left, during the process he:
1-change the preload as to his comment one the front was very loose and wobbling
2-tightened the front steeda sway bar by one point due to the endlinks length was touching the body
Since i got the car back the softer setting feels like the hardest of 24 i can feel every bump every imperfection no matter how small and its breaking my back. Anyone have any idea what might be the cause or any recommendations cause now its not fun to daily anymore.

Sounds like too much preload, I have FA500s, you can feel most bumps in the road but shouldn't be that bad. The spring should be 1/4 inch preloaded for ours.

You've either got it way too high or way too low.

It sounds like the shop changed preload to adjust corner weight, instead of adjusting the body length.

I'd confirm with the shop exactly how they made the adjustments, and either have them redo the work, or find someone else to sort it out depending on how much faith you have that the original shop will get it right the second time.

I confirmed with hime he said he did the preload cause the spring was wobbly and he use hight for balance he actually did a good job but i think he rushed it since its the only shop i know in the whole ksa who does this and in other city … so I'm torn between adjusting preload and risk the balance going off or just tighten the back dial a bit and see if its help .

Adjusting the spring perch would be the appropriate way to do it. You're not going to vary the end-eye length to do corner weights.

They either have the car very low, so it's into the bump stops,...very high, so it's topping the dampers out or the ride height is fine and the adjusters (if they exist) have been wound shut on the shocks. One way or another, wheel travel is being limited by *something*.

1. Did he have driver weight in the car? Total weight suggests he did.
2. What 'back dial' are you talking about?

He did and im talking about the rebound and adjuster on the back shock

You described it best on high bumps the car bottom up on the front on the way down on the front even though i can sense it has more travel left on it and the harshness is more evident on low speed
I talked to the shop he said if i adjust the preload i will loose the balancing and i dont want to tbh so how do i adjust the prech? Also the shocks is at -24 back and front or fully soft setting
The reason i went with the 500 cause the car is daily first and track second car
Also here is the pic of car i just took its not that low

Maybe with crazy 14k rate springs. With 250lb/in I have like 1.5" of preload in the system.

The overriding problem with FA is the gross lack of travel. So you want cushy spring stops and cut as short as possible.

Corner balancing is done using the length adjust in concert with preload. Corner weight is done to weight target, not generally to wheel gap or some other cosmetic item.

Is that rear spring on the damper or on the arm?

This is probably what's going on, but I want to make sure there isn't anything else limiting travel.

How long are the springs you're using?
