I am getting tired of all the drama beyond the racing.

It's still only three cars that can win? I am tuning it out and will watch the highlights on social media.

Max (34 pts) and Checo (19 points) should be happy today having collected 53 points at Imola.

Hello; The RB's did not break down and are fast. The Ferraris are fast but had bad luck. The MB's are roughly fifth place cars, maybe worse as some other makes seem to have been showing.
Am I the only one who has noticed Russel is doing better than LH????

Nope, where’s the Hamilton fanboys now? Wolf had to come out and say he deserves a better car, because after all, he’s a world champ. Completely skipped over Russel putting the same car in to fourth place. Hamilton got lapped! And where’s the negative bs towards Verstappen? Oh, that’s right, he won. I enjoy racing. I don’t get the fanboy …. at alll…They ALL struggle at times. It’s the nature of the beast.

It's unwatchable.

Talking heads are so annoying tryi g to copy Walker it sounding like amateurs.

Difficult to differentiate the cars from one and other on the track all are a mix mash of colors VS clearly differentiated themes.

Wonder if Haas will be charged with criminal fraud for ripping off the sponsors for $20 M lol.
Well don't watch it then - simple

Sponsorship deals will be dealt with by the civil courts not criminal.

But if you put George behind Gasly and Albon, what makes you think he would have overtaken. The Williams was by far the fastest in a straight line, so even with DRS Gasly couldn't pass, Hamilton was stuck behind a car with DRS.

Having said that George has outperformed the car so far, but as he pointed out you can only do that for so long.

Agree re 'fanboys' who can see nothing other than black and white - remind you of anything else :cwl:

OK, you anti Lewis assholes, I'm here!!! OK, only kidding :giggle: :like:  but I find it interesting that you folks turned up before I did.

Anyway, Mercedes sucks right now, period. It was going to happen eventually, it always does. Lewis has history with the car, George does not. Lewis has had the best car on the grid for years, George the worst. It's easier for George to over perform in a poor car than it is for Lewis to under perform in the same car. Actually George's final position was the result of the accident not performance. He actually didn't do anything during the race itself. Same with Lewis. He dropped a spot on pit lane.

Toto is going to protect Lewis the same way Cristian protects Max. That's part of their job. Even the best athletes has fragile ego's. Losing hurts but I believe both Lewis and Mercedes will make it back to the top. When is anyones guess but it will not be anytime soon.

But the good news is there is a lot of great racing out there. Max did a great job Sunday just running away the race. But he had the best car so I guess that's the reason. Congrats to Checo and Lando. Tears for Ferrari, they deserved better but bit off a little more than they could chew. They will be back in Miami. And Bottas, Tsunoda, & KMag in the points. This is fun.

Haven't heard any recent word about the Miami protests. Hope the race goes off.

I think 'sucks' is a bit strong. It is third best car and that is despite the diabolical porpoising. Get on top of that and it will be right up there again. The main issue is wind tunnel work doesn't help as it can't be simulated effectively. It is all about the floor flexibility and edges, but they know that. Remember how bad McLaren were in 2009 (after winning the championship in 2008) and they still won two races that year despite being way off the pace early on.

George did overtake MAG early on in the race, and that is not an easy thing to do.

I think sucks was Toto's word. :cwl::crackup: I'm sure he has used worse. Did you see the Ferrari's bouncing up & down? But you are correct, others are dealing with the propoising better than Mercedes. I'm not giving up on them yet.

My bad, I forgot about the George, Kevin battle. That was a good one. But a Mercedes battling a Haas. It's going to be a long season.

Go Charles!!!!

The Haas is a quick car most of the time.

Ferrari do indeed have a similar problem, but seem to be making the car work. There is a suggestion that Mercedes have too little floor rigidity because of the sidepod design. I'm sure they will fix it soon.
