Nope, where’s the Hamilton fanboys now? Wolf had to come out and say he deserves a better car, because after all, he’s a world champ. Completely skipped over Russel putting the same car in to fourth place. Hamilton got lapped! And where’s the negative bs towards Verstappen? Oh, that’s right, he won. I enjoy racing. I don’t get the fanboy …. at alll…They ALL struggle at times. It’s the nature of the beast.
Is funny to see a post from a fanboy complaining about fanboys. 👀

To the other points, it is obvious AMG is gonna struggle and with the cap limit on spending it is gonna be tough to correct quickly. I find it even more interesting how Ferrari bounces so much and still stays fast yet AMG cannot.

Fanboy for who? Sorry to disappoint, I don’t have a preference in drivers. Did like Kimi though. If Merc doesn’t get it turned around quick, Hamilton will be gone after this season. Wouldn’t really blame him. If and when Merc and Fer get the porpoising issue worked out it’ll be interesting to see what the fix is.

Hello; The gist of this story appears to revolve around the "special circumstances" bit. Some teams got the design of their cars to be better suited for racing under the new rules. Other teams got it wrong in some features. The races are showing this difference clearly.
The special circumstance appears to be the "inflation of costs" to operate so those who screwed up cannot just spend money to fix a problem and stay under the spending limits.

The teams which got it closer to right from the start do not want a special circumstance ploy. The teams who do not have access to more cash will not benefit from lifting the spending cap. They have no extra monies to grab.

It is the teams who have design flaws and deep pockets who appear to want the spending cap lifted due to the special circumstances. Am I the only one seeing who this will benefit most???

I may have it wrong but thought the point of the spending cap was to keep the teams with deep pockets from just simply outspending the teams with lesser funding. Just a few races into the season and we are seeing some increased competition. Some former mid pack teams are holding their own much better. It is not, so far, just podiums among two teams with the finish from fifth place back not having any chance at all in a non-wet race.

All the teams had the new rules to work out before the season started. Some by luck or skill got it closer to right. Some made less effective choices and now want a do-over is how this appears.

Your posts point towards who...I don't care really just found it funny.
I wonder if this is a general "anti fanboy" position or only for those of us that like Lewis. Bet if I were a Max fanboy we would be hearing this crap.

Actually I believe it has to do with winning. Fans of Michael and Seb took a lot crap in their winning days. And as a Jeff Gordon fan I took heaps of crap for that as well.

We can only hope. Forget the racing, I'm concerned about the physical well being of the drivers.
That explains why I never saw you at a figure 8 race. Still remember the pace car driver that died in 2014 when a back-marker t-boned him.

Anything positive about Verstappen and Redbull tweaks the Merc Hamilton fanboys. No secret, not a fan of Hamilton.

Your not wrong. Mercedes and Wolf did this last year, I‘m sure you recall the nonsense about the pitstops. Watch for the safety of the drivers angle if this doesn’t work. If the shoe was on the other foot they would be trying to shut it down. All that said I don’t think they allow the teams to test enough. It is really cool to see some of the other teams fighting toward the front.

You do realize it works both ways correct? You are proof of that.

So let's just state the facts...people have favorites in everything they watch and typically root against the opposition...done.

Sorry to disappoint. I don’t root against Hamilton. I don’t really care who wins. I like racing, and enjoy the competition. As good as F1 is, it doesn’t hold a candle to Motogp and the competition there.

Hello; I am much the same about the racing and about MotoGP. I have come to dislike Hamilton mainly for his whining radio talk. His actions against his competitors and even his own team mates and his off track personality. Sort of like some singers or actors whose songs/movies I like and I know nothing about, then see an interview or some such.

I do not understand the sort of "cult" following around Hamilton. He has been lucky in being on good teams with great cars until this season. Now his new teammate is doing better in the same not front runner car. As is understood, it is the car/team that makes the bigger difference.
