Yep. It's the newest I found anywhere (VIN 507141), which happened to be close by. The next newest was 750 miles away, in Cleveland, TX (VIN 507096. That was one of my requirements, as well as having been stored indoors (it gets quite hot for months here), no Recaros, and both EP and MR packages. So my search was much more limited that way. I'm sure there're newer 2019s than mine, but like you said, probably not many. And not sure I'd have liked a 2020 right before the shutdown. Or right after. Ha ha. Engine sounds really good, tranny feels great, and even the B&O sounds a lot better than the other Bullitt I drove (maybe it had the sub disconnected). Happy with my car. Even though I've bought several much more expensive RWD manual sports cars before, I'm happiest with this one overall :D.

Mine is 507029, K7834, blend date 7/30/2019, I believe they started 2020's sometime in August, yours must be one of the last 2019's.

Hey JC and Steve. (JC, earlier we emailed a little).
Mine Vin's 507021 Aug build K7909.
Funny Steve, mines 8 less than yours and still Aug build date?
JC, you can turn on the Surround on the B&O system, I think it helps a lot.

Like JC, I also looked for the latest VIN within driving range. I just picked up 507147, K7941, build date 8/6/19. I had to go 200 miles to get it, but I liked the fact that it was under an awning while sitting for many months at the dealership.

Awesome :D. And congrats; we got almost identical cars and circumstances. Cool. Hey, how do you know the exact build date? I'd like to know mine now. Ha ha. My 'blend' date was 7/31/19, but the door label just shows a build date of 08/19 (no day). So I assume it was a few days after yours, since my chassis is K7979. Thanks.

Thanks. I hope that I haven't mis-spoken on my build date. My window sticker doesn't identify the 07 25 19 date on the bottom as a "blend" date as I have seen on the top of other stickers - I assumed that date may be for planning/distribution purposes. My VIN tag has 08/19 like yours at the top but also has a 13 digit string in the bottom center that I have read contains the actual build date in this format: YYMMDD, mine being 190806. I'm not 100% certain of this and the only way I've seen that is 100% is thru Ford's Etis system for technical info that requires dealership or independent shop subscription. Looking at several cars, I notice that the relationship between VIN assignment and K number is somewhat random and I'm not sure which of the two is a better indicator of actual build sequence. But our cars sound like twins that could have been rolling down the line the same day, anyway.

My date on the door jamb was 8/19 - 090802 and the Vin is 7021 and K7909.. so I was just ahead of you two.

Hey, good find; seems to be the legit build date indeed. Mine is 190809, which makes sense. Just 3 days later than yours. K7979, with VIN 7141. Is your VIN also a hair lower than mine? Curious if K and VIN numbers go hand in hand, or if one car can have a higher K than other, but with a lower VIN, or viceversa.

I am not sure if they go hand in hand, but they never match on any model (unless huge accident) I think. I have 190325, so I guess my K5859 is from March of 2019... I bought it a year later in Feb 2020, but it was inside the dealer's showroom (not sure if for the whole time), plus it had 45 miles only, so not test driven too crazy.
How soon after build do dealers usually get the cars? I'd assume build date, then some tests, clean, pack, ship, receive, prep, would guess the actual receiving at a dealer is 3 months from build? That's obviously a guess of someone that works in manufacturing, but could be totally wrong.

Ok, So When I picked my car up, there was another Bullitt parked in the lot. It had a wifi sticker on the window. But mine didn't. I did wonder why? But I wasn't sure if it was an option or standard equipment. I am going to try and read my window sticker. Whomever removed it, tore it all up.
You can google a window sticker by your VIN, that's how I confirmed equipment at various dealers when I tried to avoid Recaros on my '19.
Also can't lock/unlock etc. with my App, I'm guessing I'm in the same boat.

Oh no; it's way less than that for Fords built in the US. My 2018 F-150 Platinum, also built in Dearborn, was produced on Jun 04, and hit dealer 2K miles away 2 weeks later (I picked it up Jun 26). Mustangs should be very similar.

I am going to try and add the TCU modem to my 16 Mustang. It should be able to be added the same way I added it to my 17 F150. Boosted GreyGoose Designs can build a harness that connects to the diagnostics port not the OBDII connector. They make a splitter too. Or one could look up the specs for the connectors and build the harness themselves. Just get a TCU 17 or later but probably not later than 19 as it appears the 2020s run on HS4Can system. The wire for the PITA antenna and mount them. Then use forscan to make the appropriate changes and it should work. The F150 Forum thread is an excellent place to look for information how to do this. I know most are disabling but I want the features it offers.

Just FYI, you responded to a year old thread to a member who is no longer on this forum. Good luck with your project. I'm sure the 19' Bullitt owners would like to know what you did.
