Been in contact with the dispute resolutions dept after 4 letters and replies to Ford and the Michigan Attorney General. The dispute resolutions dept called me as there is no way otherwise to connect with them. I presume it was in reply to my last letter to the attorney general where Ford was asking the same questions of me, the reply from Ford to them we will find some kind of resolution. I took my Bullitt in and dealer confirmed no Modem, no bracket and no harness. As per Ford there is no way to install one after assembly. Originally when speaking it was confirmed as it was supposed to be standard and is labeled as a missbuild. Upon speaking I am the only one who has complained and considering about 8000 were built that is sad. I believe they plan to offer something as I was asked do I have an extended warranty said yes and it was looked up. So the person Inam working with is gonna speak to the techs and supervisor and will get back to me. Will update after some sort of resolution. Really was hoping to get the FordPass Connect installed but seems like an impossibility.

Kudos to you for sticking with this. Often times perseverance is the only way and eventually yields the desired result.

I just got a Bullitt. How do you know there is no modem? i.e. What the observable behavior or lack of behavior?

On the 2019 the FordPass Connected was advertised as standard which needs a modem, it seems at assembly it was never installed, why not known maybe the supplier could not produce enough by the time assembly started, who knows. Maybe they figured buyers would not miss or care.

I’ve been waiting for an update on this. We all knew your cars should have this feature. Just needed someone at Ford to admit they f-cked up. It’s a shame the parts cannot be retrofitted but hopefully they will do something to make up for it.

Yes it happened with assembly but the sad part is that of about 8000 2019 Bullitts produced I was told mine was the only complaint. It took awhile for the dispute resolutions to contact me after 4 letters to the attorney general they responded to them there will be some sort of resolution. It seems not the modem, etc as there is no harness and the car would have t be partly disassembled for it as it should have been factory installed but probably not for lack of equipment or cost cutting and figuring no one would question it as by responses on the forum here it was a waste if time and nothing would be accomplished.

Upon speaking I am the only one who has complained.
If you beleive that, I have a bridge to sell you. Even a cursory review of this forum will show multiple people talking about complaining to Ford.

I complained to Ford and the CEO, no response till the michigan attorney general their responses were to the attny gen and cc to me. Always the same response and question and I responded each time by certified mail to both a copy of what I sent. Finally 4th time I responded to attny gen with copy to Ford legal analyst saying for the 4th time I am answering the same questions from ford and ended with waiting for your next letter asking me the same questions again, then I got the phone call to resolve this, can only guess the attny gen really got on their case as Ford replied to attny gen they will work with me to provide a resolution. What that will be can only guess. Seems just complaining to Ford alone falls on deaf ears with them.

I too file a complaint. So far, NADA!
I originally filed with my state attorney general and was told to file with michigan attny gen, sent all letters certified to both attny gen and the Ford legal analyst who replied. Took 4 letters before Ford called me.

If my car has no modem and they can't fix it I'm going to ask for a new car. I suspect mine has no modem because I can't get Ford Pass to work even though I followed the directions precisely.

Sorry but, you don’t have it, you can’t get it, and the only way you’re getting a new car is if you buy one.

A few members have tried contacting theIr AG’s about going after Ford But I do not believe it has led to anything.
