I'm a fan of Sprint Booster, I put it on my Bullitt. The car seemed very lethargic without it. Afterwards, I loved it, made a big difference in the enjoyment of the car. It's one of those things where you really need to experience it to understand the fun factor involved.

Also, you can hit the radio power button (by itself) and the radio will come on. At least mine works like that. Not sure how long it will stay on using that method.

In the back of the seat, a few inches under the headrest, there's a small square lever. Pull up on that to release the front seat, then it will return to the same position. It seems to help if you apply slight pressure on the seat backwards, to help release the lever. Ingenious.

Thanks for explanation JC. I don't think I've ever had a car where the CC didn't completely turn off with the ignition. But I have had some BMW's where it was a one lever push to activate/set cruise. Which is what I suppose they're asking for.

That doesn't change the fact that you may park your car after having the CC set at 75mph, and you wife gets in the car the next day and is tooling around at 25 mph and accidentally hits the Resume button and the car accelerating towards 75 very quickly, surprising the heck out of her and...

The brake peddle doesn't turn off the resume button, it still works after you touch the brake.

It's a safety feature. You wouldn't want someone to start driving and not be aware that the CC is engaged because they might accidentally hit the Resume button and the car take off.

JC, I was concerned about the pop-out method also, but when I tried one, it popped out so easy it surprised me. I used one of those small red Swiss Army pen knives. One of the blades has something that resembles a fingernail file with a flat end tip, I just used that, easy peasy.

Correct, I didn't take the wheels off. I used one of those generic blue masks (that we're all wearing now, they're very soft), and wrapped it around a thin screw driver and just slid it in between the cap and wheel and just popped it off. It was easier than I though. Literally 3 secs to pop off...

Here's a pic of the wheel caps, they are very easy to replace, literally 10 secs a wheel. They cost about 100 bucks for 4. Ford removed most of the Mustang emblems, but left those 4 pony's on the wheels. Bad oversite. I'm a fan of Sprint Booster, I've put it on the last 5 cars I've owned...

Fair enough Colorado, but do me a favor, check your oil cold, after it sits all night, and tell me where it measures on the stick and if it's different then the 15 or 30 min time frame.
