I'd buy one if it was the cost of a standard block.

It won't be. I talked to the Ford reps at PRI and they said half the price of a billet block.......

So 5k ish. I think this only makes sense for the max effort people, with deep pockets/sponsors. I'd love to see someone throw 30-40 PSI at one of these though

I'd say that about where the MSRP will be, likely sold cheaper.

After watching that, I guess I am unclear as to why a solid Iron block isn't as good as a sleeved aluminum block for beyond 1200hp?

Its better than a sleeved aluminum block if you can afford it.

Didn't u just buy a block of some sort?
Nope, I am still considering my options....it’s a lot easier when you’re in the States, you have a huge selection available, shipping ain’t bad and your USD is strong....

Down Under, if I make the wrong choice, I’m stuck with it, combined with expensive shipping and a relatively weak AUD, I need to make the right selection the 1st time.

‘I am considering a Gen3 sleeved block, or, this one, provided it is semi-affordable for us regular folks :)
