So, do you get to keep the Mondeo Vignale until you do get another Mustang?

As marks indicated in a previous post.......the facelifted model is due in a 9 month-ish timescale. They'll likely start building them in May of next year.

Of course, there's no guarantee as to when RHD models will start to be built.....but it's worth bearing this in mind. We'll likely see the new car debuted at the LA Show in November, or Detroit in January. If you like what you see, it may be worth putting the pressure on to get one of the first RHD facelift cars.

As TT says, if you can wait I would go with a MY18 car. Get on at Stacey and Andy and tell them you want the 1st RHD car. It's the least they can do for you. I appreciate it may not be that easy for them but it has been know for an order to be bumped to the top of the list due to damage in transit.

The Vignale brand is the "top spec / hand finished at a special factory in Spain" at the top of the various Ford models in Europe. Each car comes with a "Vignale relationship manager" and you are supposed to get a higher level of service - they are trying to move upmarket...

It is basically a top of the range specification with better leather seats, special paint colours and most options fitted.

A little underwhelming to say the least.

Citroen are trying to do the same thing with the DS branding.... at least they are using "different" models for that.

If they are letting you keep the Mondeo until the next one arrives, id be pushing for the 1st MY18 car in the UK... thats got a nice ring to it.

My first car was a Ford Orion in Ghia trim, now that's luxury!

Yes that looks to be the case, I don't think I'll await a MY18 as mine was originally in the first RHD batch for MY17. If Ford follow a similar pattern I wouldn't get it until next August!

So it's an expedited MY17 or nothing for us, I'm chasing what date they can do.

So I've been to see the doctors and been certified, order placed with TrustFord Guildford!

This car is a bad habit:hail:

Changed colour to a Lightning Blue convertible with Ceramic interior as the memory of a red one was going to be bad and also the colour wasn't available when we ordered in Feb.

Tell me I'm bonkers!

Not bonkers mate, bloody good choice. I've seen a lightning one and the colour's sensational. I hope it goes well for you and arrives soon. A complete change like this will erase this bad memories. Let's hope they throw in something as a goodwill gesture as well, maybe a set of MPSS like they did for me.
