Not very clever algorithm, is it? Many years ago I used some text formatting software, and it was specifically coded for certain "things". One of them was to never break certain words between lines, for example "therapist" could never line break into "the-
rapist"....
:headbonk:
The "extra cost" paint options will be the same choices as the US, but I still don't understand how Ruby Red cost $395 in the US and £595 over here - it is simply "that's what UK customers are used to paying for that kind of paint option" and not linked to the extra cost of the paint process.
I think it will be several months before UK prices and specs are available. It will be interesting to see see if they bring a "bare bones" spec to keep prices down or make a lot of the options a standard spec. Of course they could do both - or give us more choices so we can get exactly the car...
I first experienced an "offset wheel" years ago in a Vauxhall Cavalier after driving it for about 6 months I realised why I was never comfortable so I just adjusted my position and have been fine ever since. It is just "one of those things"...
I had a completely flat battery last November (or thereabouts) after sitting for maybe 2 weeks, but it has never repeated - even after sitting for over 3 weeks at one point.
So maybe "something played up" and is now "playing nicely"... It doesn't instill a huge degree of confidence but mine...
Maybe not - there are "rumours" that Ford have built a "stockpile" of RHD '17s to tide them over until the RHD '18s come on stream which looks like it could be several months away - so maybe worth ringing another dealer and enquiring about a "new mustang..."
Quick update fom me - the "new-ish" bit of the A4 near Koln that was not in the F4 maps is on the F6 - so no more driving in fields for me in that area!
I like the integration of the Sync 2 satnav into the car so the directions automatially mute the music and the traffic updates work pretty...
For those of us with Sync 2, you can now get the F6 maps. Apparently Ford charge around £240 for them, but fleabay has them from £55.
I ordered from...
My dealer gave me short shrift to that!
New card arrived this morning, swapped it over after I worked out the slot was in the glove box hidden under the usb slot and it looks fine.
So might be the best £55 I have spent in a long time... I will check some new roads later today and report back.
Just google ford f6 sd satnav on ebay; I have ordered the £55 one with "karten" in the title and it will arrive next week when I am away so I will post my experience when I get back. It was satnavuk_direct I think.
The image looked to be a genuine Ford part at least.
"These map sd cards are available to purchase from our parts department for £269.91" - you can buy them on ebay for much, much less than that.
The F4 cards have been around from long before June 2015; the F5 cards came out around Jan 2016 (I just missed getting one...)
A quick google search...
My convertible has it - in fact it wasn't connected when I picked the car up but flapping around in the boot and it was the only item that needed attention when I took it in for my free / courtesy oil change at 1500 miles with Hendy Chandlers Ford.
The release is in the corner of the rear...
I drove mine to Germany twice last summer and did some night driving and had no issues with people flashing me, etc. So I don't think the pattern is too bad for "the other side".
It is based on the "On the Road" price, which for the shadow black manual fastback is £39,895 so just fits under. if you go for a colour that costs extra you will be over that limit, so order the Grabber Blue or Race Red if that is important to you. Any other Shadow Black version will need the...
