I just got ford racing solid aluminum subframe bushings and steeda diff bushings (black ones) installed and I still have TONS of wheel hop. the installer that was installing accidentally cut out the diff bushing and had to press in another factory one, could this have anything do with it?? I thought between the two it would have brought wheel hope to a minimum

Well you locked the cradle down about as much as possible.

You locked the diff bushings out pretty decently with the insert kit.

Now, since you have addressed those...you still have a ton of deflection and geometry change outboard by the wheel/knuckle.

What I recommend is to install a set of Vertical Links, either our TCA045 or whatever brand you choose (I am bias to spherical bearings) and also install a set of LCA Bearings. Our part # for that is BK055.

While installing the LCA Bearings, I almost always suggest people go ahead and put in the Ford M-5A460-M Toe Bearings.

Once you do this, let's see what happens. If you have hop that you are not happy with, then you will want to then look at your springs, dampers and tires.

Wheel Hop is caused primarily by the lack of traction AND the lack of part stability. The BEST way to remove the hop is to improve traction and improve suspension assembly stability.

Lastly, I am not sure what you are using for tires....but me personally, I drive around with 23-25 psi in my car with the street tires, in the rear. The tire pressure light bugs me, but I feel that pressure is superior for comfort, grip and less wheel-hop. Maybe go out real quick and try to drop them to 22 and see what happens.

Good Luck!
