If you can't carefully bang the bolt in with the rear subframe bolts tight and the front subframe bolts loose, you will need to get the rear subframe bolts loose as well and really droop the whole subframe to have enough clearance. Upon doing this, you will need an alignment, however.
I had to loosen all four subframe bolts and move the entire subframe back. There was no way the drivers side was going in without doing that for me.

I understand. It was not easy for me to try to save from moving my cradle. I did it the hard way to try to save some money and time from getting an alignment. I had to get the bolt as perpendicular as I could to the bushing face by pushing in the gas tank shield slightly. Once the bolt was on the edge of the OEM metal bushing collar with the bolt head sandwiched by the gas tank shield, I was surprised and got it in after some bangs.

Also, all of our cradles are likely sitting differently such as more left or right, forward or rearward because of all the slop there is between the subframe bolts and cradle's mounting holes.

The aftermarket alignment dowels available might be sweet for installation and alignment consistency.

If you have an automatic, make sure you're in N or you might have loaded up the rear end. Popped a friends into N and it went bang and lined right up! :)
