I got the ford power pack 2 but it requires a USB. And my tiny laptop doesn't have one. Can I just bring my desktop into the garage and load the tune like that? 2015 gt vert 6 speed

Or you can get a cable that has what your laptop has to want the device has.

That would work. You could get an adaptor too. Amazon has USBC docks for cheap. Get one that has the other style usb port.

Dude buy a 2 dollar USB to USBC adapter from Amazon and then you can plug in the Ford tuner into your tiny laptop.

I dragged my pc into the garage and it keeps telling me I have multiple of the apps running on different computers which it's not, so how the hell do I upload the tune. I t hi ought the pp2 was supposed to be easy. Been trying to figure out the dongle thing for like 2 days now, about ready to give up and return the kit. It's not working

Try shutting down the laptop maybe? Ford also has a number you can call in the kit. They were helpful when my airbox seal was deformed

Yeah I've reset both laptop and pc like 9 times to see if that's the problem. I'm at a complete loss and it looks like im SOL till Monday. Why is it i read 2 dozen articles on this and everyone says 2 hours and im on day can't make it past software screen. It doesn't show vin, devi e info, nothing. Either the dongle is defective or im some how doing something wrong even though I have someone helping and we both read the i structures to a tee. All the dingle does is flash a green blue and yellow light

It may not be plugged in tight enough or you have something else connected to the obd port, check closely. On my car i had a tracker masquerading as my obd port that made flashing anything super inconsistent. And this was a brand new car too lol

I'm just so frustrated I want to throw in the towel. I thought the pp2 mod was easy. This is a nightmare. Can't even upload the tune. I've been working on mustangs every generation and never experienced the ridiculousness of electrical problems on the new ones. My SHO is just plugged in the obd port with my livernois tune in like 10 minutes. I'm going on day 3 trying to figure out this stupid do gle
