Here's another pic when the car had different wheels. I plan on getting rid of these and going steeda progressive.

When you switched wheels, did you go larger in back? My rear wheels are larger which adds to the rake. The gap in your picture above in the rear looks less than it does with the newer wheels. Could be the angle that the picture was taken though.

It could be the angle. The last picture with the SVE wheels are squared at 285/35/19 to give you an idea. I agree my car looks a bit lower then yours but it could be the angle

Anyone have experience with the Ford Performance X Springs? I just installed on my 2019 GT (non-PP) with 275/35/20 front and 305/35/20 rear. Was expecting a uniform 1” drop as advertised (trying to close the larger gap in front), however rear looks unchanged and front went a little lower than expected. Any similar experiences or ideas on how to rectify? The picture outdoors is the before and the picture in the garage is the after. Thanks.

Did you clock all the bushings after the install?

The FP Street handling comes with progressive rate springs, it takes the base to PP1 level type suspension feel. It drops the front and rear nearly "1. This kit can be installed by yourself, I recommend getting a buddy, the front ARB is a complete PITA. I managed to get it installed, with help. The FP Track handling package, drops the ride height almost "2 front and rear, and come with linear springs. If you do not plan the track it, those linear springs will likely hurt, a lot. Both were designed for the s550 chassis, however... I was under the impression the verts were not compatible, but if FP has them listed, go with what FP has published.
Quick confession: I took my 2020 Mustang GT PP1 to the track and was really impressed with the handling. Maybe the the M 5300-Y Track Lowering springs are all need? Maybe not....I am looking at the FP 2020 Catalog, Pg. 32, 2015-2019 Mustang Track Handling Package. When you go to the FP website, it covers 2020 too. It is states these springs lower car approximately 1" front and rear, that's all I want.

From the pics, it looks as if the springs on the front are linear, those on the rear look to be progressive. I am really leaning this way, if it's FoMoCo Performance, no warranty problems.

I suspect the rear springs are actually dual-rate, or very close to that.

What would be of interest there would be whether those springs would be still operating in their 'soft rate' region at static ride height or not.

I did not drive my before the FP Street Handling pack on track. However, I still was overall impressed with the street pack performance, and that almost "1 front and rear drop looks ok too!

The rear springs are linear...Ford engineers already stated such.

This is not a linear rear spring. Dual rate.

According to the Ford engineer it was a helper spring as when the car is on the ground the coils bind creating a infinite spring rate. I am just regurgitating what the engineer said from Ford.

My car is a PP1 300a 6MT car, it only lowered the car .875" front and .75" rear with the 5300Y springs (I did the full Track kit minus the bits the PP1 cars came with).

BTW Brian, I completely consider you an authority when it comes to setting up the car. You're like EF HUtton on this board. When Brian speaks, people listen..:D

I wouldn't need something like this with the GT Premium would I?
Like GT premium with no PP? If that's what you mean then yes, you need something like this more than you realize.

The base suspension is terrible. It belongs in the trash unless the car is for a grandma.

And not always correct either!

Looking at it, I can see that the portion of the spring there is meant to fully bind and effectively just extend the length like a helper. Technically, still a dual rate spring though

I have the GT Performance Pack. My car will be Supercharged. I will still need this? I was just gonna get a Stop The Hop package and the other stuff for my suspension.
