Incorrect. Gforce discontinued those 850hp rated axles in 2019. See the press release here:

https://gforce1320.com/gforce-releases-all-new-line-up-with-the-renegade-axles/

The new Renegades are basically the old Outlaw axles as the Outlaws were given an upgrade as well.

Correct! :like: Plenty strong for 99% of the setups.
So basically what you’re saying is I was off by 50hp. The point of my original answer was the Ford performance ones aren’t rebadged renegades. They aren’t rebadged outlaws either. They have 34 spline cv joints while both renegade and outlaws have 31 splined joints which translates to less strong. They are better than both. This was intentional and it’s why Gforce upgraded their old versions. Lethal performance confirmed this too when checked. This answer takes very little research. The msrp and sale price through Gforce has the ford performance as $400 more than the outlaws. There’s a reason for that. Even though they can be had cheaper. The renegades while also an expensive half shaft are almost $1k less. Call Gforce you’ll get the answer yourself. They’re open until 5pm (316) 260-8433. There’s really no debate.

I'm not debating. I was simply stating that your comment about the current Renegades being 8xxhp rated was incorrect as they do not make that version any longer.

At the end of the day, buy whatever axles you think you need for your application. Great options out there.

OP...just a word of advice; call G-Force and give them the manufacture date and ask them if they had changed their thread locker before or after that date of manufature. If they were using the old formulation keep an eye on the bolts because it won't be long before they back out. Ask me how I know...

My advice, if they were using the old formula, is to save yourself a lot of heartache and send them in now before you install them and have to pull them back out. Or, remove the bolts and use a high temp red loctite and re-torque the fasteners before installing the axles.
Pretty stoked the Ford Racing ones for 15-17 are only $1k now, but I will definitely do this. I actually have to send then back and exchange them. In my previous picture you can see there is some kind if oil or grease around one of them. Upon further inspection it appears one was damaged during shipping and Ford Performance confirmed this and is helping me swap them out for different ones. Luckily I hadn't got to installing yet.

For the pair?
It’s the old set for the 15-17 so yes it was $999 for the pair off the Ford performance site. Great deal but not compatible with the 18+.

The boxes mine shipped in had the same oily/greasy residue. I presumed it was just some kind of oily coating to keep the exposed metal from rusting while sitting on the shelf in some FRPP warehouse. As long as there isn't any grease leaking from the CV boots you should be fine. Aside from the bolts backing out mine have been trouble free for several years.

Before installing the axles here are a few things I wish somebody would have told me:
1) As stated earlier, address the thread locker (either have G-Force do it or use a high temp permanent loctite formulation) issue before installing. The bolts can be removed, treated, reinstalled and torqued without removing the axles from their installed positions...it just sucks. If you have to upgrade the thread locker and choose to do it home mark the fastener with a dykem pen so you can quickly see if the bolts are backing out.

2) If you ever plan on running aftermarket dampers, even the Ford Performance dampers, send the axles back to G-Force and have them change the outer boots to the low profile design. Ford had G-Force design the axles around a 100% stock suspension which, honestly, doesn't make any sense to me. If you need 1500hp axles chances are substantial changes have been made to the suspension.

3) Coat the splines going into the hub with anti-seize.

4) Use red loctite on the axle retaining nut and torque to 150 ft/lbs + 1/8 turn and mark with a dykem pen. The axle nuts have a bad habit of wanting to back off. I have had no problems since using the method described above.

First of all the renegades are the low end 800hp rated Gforce half shafts. The outlaws are the 1500hp rates Gforce half shafts. With that being said the Ford performance are also 1500hp rated like the “outlaws” not the renegades like you had said. And the Ford performance are 34 spline where as the outlaws are 32 spline. So yes they are very similar to what Gforce sells in regards to their highest end half shafts but are still stronger made than anything Gforce sells and branded with their own name. On gforce’s website they sell the Ford performance halfshafts for $2400 the outlaws are $1999 and the renegades are like $1199.
first of all figure out who the hell your replying to because I haven't said anything about what your babbling about renegade and outlaws

I was replying to you. Your exact quote was “wait what!?!? They can not be different splines…”. In reference to my statement that it had more splines than renegade or outlaws. I didn’t realize there was a way to respond to that statement.

Well I ordered the ones on special SKU: M-4130-M for $999 on Thursday. I guess they were out and sent me the M-4130-MA. They also kept the price the same, packing ship shows the original SKU numbers it then shows replaced with M-4130-MA.
That’s a deal for sure.
