Yea I'll post up my results as soon as I get everything done. Very excited to finally get it. After I put my magnaflow comp on, my torque disappeared lol so I'm excited to get this car running strong

I had to take my car in for some warranty and IOU work last week. I asked the guys in the service department if they had heard anything about the topic. None of them had heard anything, and the head service guy just kept telling me to "get a COBB and don't worry about it".

Well, maybe not so awesome that they haven't heard about any ECU update, but yes awesome that they are mod-friendly. That dealership in particular apparently really likes the EB platform. I know the head finance guy, the GM of sales, and the head service guy all have modded EB's.

Honestly, rgingo, you don't want to go there. I'll spare the bad publicity, but I will tell you it's on the east side of the metroplex. It's been one headache after another with them and since this trip is taking care of the IOU's from the purchase, it will be the last interaction I will have with them.

Ford needs to reflash the pcm on the ecoboost anyway. So many of us had cel for p0300. Maybe they'll throw it in to appease those of us that aren't all that excited about having a 2015 mustang?

I love the car. The way it looks and feels. However, I've gotten the cel, advance trac service light, and trac control lights all flashing together at me on two separate occasions on startup. The radio has cut out on me before and the driver "A pillar" (plastic that houses the tweeter) and pass side "B piller" (plastic between front and rear windows) squeek like no other as you drive down the road. The plastic can't be fixed because airbags sit behind them and the dealer doesn't want to compromise integrity. The radio has never duplicated symptoms. And the pcm needs a flash that Ford hasn't released... I have mixed feelings about my purchase. Ford keeps telling me to be patient. I guess we'll see what happens.

Yeah that sux, I can understand the level of frustration you would have. They fixed it at some because I don't have any of the issues your having except for the squeak at the trim where the headlight control is. So if they realized and made changes during the different build dates why wouldn't they offer it to fix yours now? Doesn't make sense.

The dealer has narrowed the culprit down to Styrofoam insulation that is supposed to protect from airbag impact. Apparently it rubs on the trim causing the squeek. What I find troubling is the fact that my car wasn't manufactured early on. The prod date is 3/15 @ Detroit plant. But I'm ready for the update. Atleast get my car to function adequately Ford!

Yeah that's strange, bought mine at the end of February, so that's an earlier build date than yours. Sometimes we forget that the parts are still mass produced and anything can happen to any of those pieces at any time during production that could screw up the fit/finish/functionality. It just sucks, sry man. Hang in there!

Ford needs to step it up. Still don't understand how you build something that looks great but then is a rattle box and that is acceptable.

Definitley post your results from the dyno tune. That sux about your car issues. Are you still thinking about swapping to the GT?
