I have been waiting for vortech/paxton to release their set up, I already knew I wanted a centri, but all this lately makes me really considering pro charger and after seeing AdrianMAK's. Can I get some comparison notes between the two centri's? Persuade my decision.

Sames. I'd like to see Vortech's setup to compare.

both companies put out a quality product, the vortech Paxton are a few weeks out still

their systems will always use the shared drive, the procharger on the higher end setups will use the dedicated drive

some like this some don't,

there really isn't a right or wrong answer,

I mean no disrespect and appreciate your input but what does this have to do with daily driven cars. The point of this thread was to get advice on what methods and amounts of boost are safe and drive able in everyday driving situations. Not 6 grand hole shots from every stoplight and NMRA championships. I was really wanting some advice on what can be driven comfortably in traffic and if a person wanted to take it to the strip then they could do that too without having to worry about premature engine failure and things like blow by and such.
Correct, its not just about NMRA championships.

TRUST
ProCharger has been around for 20 years. For those 20 years we have been innovating the Centrifugal market. From decades of racing records, to countless systems for all sorts of makes and models. We haven't "phased out" a single kit yet. Even if a customer has a blower kit from 1994 we can still service the blower, and provide them with parts.

This is a TRUST factor that you can count on when spending your $$$. We will still be here, incase you need a part years down the road.

SYSTEM DESIGN AND TESTING
Its easy for someone to put a supercharger on a car, do a few pulls on the dyno and call it a "system" However that is just the start.

Renting the track to make sure there are no issues.
Doing hours of dyno testing, and extreem load testing, to ensure quality.
Having Lab grade testing equipment to back up all data.

And when its all done, being able to create an easy to read full color owners manual, so the system can easily be installed by the average DIY guy. (or girl)

AFTER YOUR INSTALLATION
In case you have an issue with your system, we have an entire tech service department available to take calls and questions. And a network of over 2,400 dealers across the world, one of which might be in your area. Just in case you have a question you need answered, or some extra oil for the blower when you change it.

OUR COMPANY OWNED COYOTES
Our company owned 2015 test car gets driven EVERY day (that its not snowing, or being used for a photoshoot or something) has countless WOT amounts of testing, and has never missed a beat!

The 2011 Mustang GT we own, had hundreds and hundreds of dyno pulls, and 1/4 pulls even running that 10.87@131mph on 7.5psi of boost. All on the 100% stock GT motor. (We have a built motor now, because we are using it for high HP testing above 800HP) However we kept the original motor and have it sitting on a stand, to put back into the car.

Two of our Engineers own and drive high HP Coyotes, with stock engines in them.
They don't just design the systems, they own them, use them, and race them.

As far as "real world" results with this HO system.
Look at the MAK car, that just got tuned for the fuel in his area.

8psi of boost
HO System (stock kit, stock intercooler)
100% stock car, other then cat back
Mustang Dyno
599 rwhp

A few ponies shy of 600rwhp at just 8psi, with the BANG for the buck HO KIT! Now THAT is exciting :)

The HO ProCharger kit flat out delivers, with no Hype.
- Easy to put on in the garage, with detailed instructions in color
- Proven power gains, that put the power to the ground safely
- Tuning solutions safe for any 91 octane or better fuel across he US
- Best dollar per HP forced induction system available.
- Built from a company with a 20 year track record.

Its amazing to see that centrifugals come back around.
However now are on a 1.0L motorcycle that makes more power then that Tbird did. Technology is an amazing thing. :)

I have to say, you are one of the best company reps I have seen online. You maintain a frequent presence here, and your responses and the info you present is always laid out in an excellent manner. ProCharger has a very good sales rep in you!

Thanks for the kind words.
However I am actually not in sales. (At least not technically)

I do however believe very much in the product and the company.
Before working here, I had ProChargers on my cars/trucks and will continue to do so.
(I have also had roots/screws and turbos so I am well versed on all things "boost")

I also actually like the internet, and a forums ability to spread information.
If a customer says "hey what does your crank pulley look like" I can either email them an owners manual, or run down and take a photo of it, and share it.

Thanks again, it means a lot!

Yeah I figured you weren't actually a sales rep, especially based on your username here. I more meant in the fact that you are good for promoting sales for them. Probably should have worded it differently or been more clear on that. Either way, Oh, and I'm totally with you on the internet forum thing. That's why I have been using them since they first started popping up many years ago.

I'm not up to date on this, but what heat exchangers are going to be used w/ the Pax/Vortech kits...if that info is available? Water or air?

Sorry if it's been stated somewhere already, I've been focusing my time on the 2.3 development...

As a DD I'm assuming you're not looking for a car to make 1k HP let alone 800. The key takeaway to a fun, healthy car that's going to last a long time is the tune, pure and simple.

Regardless if a car runs 8 seconds or 11 seconds, this is a DD and what the end goal from the company offering the product is for you to have a safe reliable car that goes fast.

Whipple, Roush, Vortech, Paxton and Procharger all offer a system that's enjoyable and as a physical product, the capability to go fast and still be very reliable.

Let us know if you have any questions, we'd love to help you out. Our goal is to get you a kit that is fun, reliable and dependable.

Cheers!

One thing I am curious about with regards to the tune is lets say someone wants the safest tune possible with the Procharger kit. Wondering if it's best to just stay with the conservative ProCharger tune that comes with the kit, or get a customer dyno tune. Obviously custom tunes yield more power, but in doing so is that sacrificing some reliability beyond just the simple fact that more power will always, to some extent, decrease reliability. Or at least has the potential to. If someone stays out of the throttle all the time, it won't matter either way.
