E85 is a cleaner fuel than petrol (gasoline) so would make it easier to pass an emissions test

It is possible, but depends on the changes made by your tuner, and other mods you have on your car. Do you have an OBD2 device to check the current state of your readiness monitors? If you flash back to stock, you will also need to complete a drive cycle to set the readiness monitors.

@Radar Doc is right. Nothing about a flex tune inherently makes it fail emissions, but you may not be aware of other changes the tuner may have made that would affect it.

Well I’m in NC. My truck passed with tune no problem. So I think it’s just a ford thing. Im on 93 tune now so Im trying to drive the 300 miles and hope these 3 will reset. If not I will flash back to stock and Hopefully that will work.

Flash back to stock if you can't get the tests to run.

Looks like that what I’m gonna do today. I ran all the e85 out and I have ran 100 miles on 93. So hopefully stock flash will do the trick. How many miles for the reset to take.

If you haven't, get a cheap code scanner off amazon or use the torque app with a bluetooth OBDII adapter so you can see your monitors. The cats don't take too long to trigger but things like EGR can take longer.

I have Ngauge This is from few days ago
Fuel takes a little bit too and I believe requires more than 1/4 of a tank, but yeah you're going to have hell with the CAT and O2\HO2 without going to stock. Some people get lucky and some don't. I didn't see if you had long tubes or not.
