  1. Steeda Alignment Dowels -- Alignment

I installed the Steeda IRS subframe bushing support system along with the alignment dowels. Just installed one side and then the other as suggested in this document: https://www.steeda.com/assets/images/documents/555-4437-B.pdf Recommend threading the bolts several turns by hand before using...
  2. PROCAL Programer?

Yes, you can use your Windows desktop. Check out the attached instructions.
  3. Jacking Rails That Are Below Pinchwed

I've had the Kenny Brown (RIP) jacking rails on my daily-driver for over a year. No installation issues. The zinc-chromate finish looks as good as the day I installed them. I highly recommend them. You may want to consider future mods also. The Steeda IRS support braces will not fit with...
  4. Flex fuel tune vs emissions test

It is possible, but depends on the changes made by your tuner, and other mods you have on your car. Do you have an OBD2 device to check the current state of your readiness monitors? If you flash back to stock, you will also need to complete a drive cycle to set the readiness monitors.
  5. Solution for the Reduced Redline in 6th Gear?

I believe the "WOT shift map" in the transmission programming has primary control for shifting at WOT. The FRPP tune does not change this map on a 2020 Mustang GT 10R80 with drive modes. Here's a snapshot of the table from the FRPP tune:
  6. Flex Fuel Woes

And one correction to what I said, I would expect the fuel trims to be under 1.0 after you flash the E85 tune. Assuming you have about 66% ethanol at the moment, the computer will actually be pulling some fuel to maintain stoich.
  7. Flex Fuel Woes

Well, you can monitor short and long term fuel trims with the X4. If the flex tune thinks you're on 93 (or low alcohol content), your STFTs and LTFTs will be greater than 1.0 as the computer adds more fuel in an attempt to compensate. If you flash the E85 tune, I would expect the numbers to...
  8. Flex Fuel Woes

Sounds like the flex tune is not learning the fuel alcohol content properly. I would flash the E85 tune. Fuel trims will make up the difference in alcohol content until you can get more E85 in the tank. I wouldn't take the car to the track, but it should run better than it does now (assuming...
  9. Engine Cover suggestions

Just another set of Bullitt fuel rail covers here.
  10. Alcohol percentage for e85

Here is a screenshot of the display configuration screen. All you need to do is click on the "PID' area and select "Alcohol fuel percentage" as shown. If your tuner is using Ford factory values for the Low AFR endpoint and lock parameters in the flex tune, your ethanol reading on this...
  11. Alcohol percentage for e85

Yes, exactly...to look at the inferred alcohol percentage derived by the car's computer. I also monitor short and long term fuel trims, knock retard, etc. My usual routine is to bring up the app when I fuel up about 8 miles from my house. When I get home, I look at the phone to see what the...
  12. Alcohol percentage for e85

Just the OBDLink app. I haven’t tried any others. Haven’t had much spare time lately to play with this stuff.
  13. Alcohol percentage for e85

I do my own tuning with an HPTuners MPVI2 and use a laptop with VCM Scanner software to monitor Alcohol Percent, Inferred AFR Status and Inferred AFR Source while datalogging. I have not worked with an RTD device but it appears it uses the same VCM Scanner software available free from the...
  14. Wide open throttle

Be prepared for the service department to tell you they're not going to drive your car at illegal speeds for troubleshooting. Hopefully, you'll have other symptoms, codes or video to present to them.
  15. Ford track pack sway bar install issues

    Looks similar to this: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/frtp-install-issues.130719/
  16. Opinions on my knock problem

I haven't seen your full mod list, but if it's not too much trouble, how about switching back to gasoline and datalog on your stock tune? Wouldn't that possibly steer you in the right direction regarding false knock, clutch problem, etc?
  17. Ford Performance Tune for 2018+ GT

A Crank Relearn may eliminate the misfire codes. That can be done with the ProCal and is mentioned in the ProCal4 instructions here: https://performanceparts.ford.com/download/instructionsheets/FORDINSTSHTM-12655-F.PDF
