I'm using the Automotive Authority Spare BUT the hold down for the pump kit is holding down the spare just fine. What it cannot do is hold the jack down under the spare. I might be able to just use a wing nut on the tire pump hold down though. If that doesn't work I'll orderthe jack/tire hold down so I can hold both.

Mark. Thanks so much for info.i don't change tires anymore, too old,so I just call AAA and they change it.so if the hardware for the pump will hold the tire in good.new oem tire was 378 bucks, and hard to find in Atlanta, took couple days.

I wouldnt use a spare on the rear if its a different size than your other tire, could mess up the differential I would think, and I dont think a spare would fit on the front most likely. Using the sealant is what I would try if just air wouldnt work., it can be cleaned out when the tire is dismounted for repair.
The height is all you care about. Ford offers a spare for the smaller tires but they don't for the 19".

Just make sure the height of the tire you are buying is the same (or really close) to the other tires. The width doesn't matter (e.g. PP1 tire/rim combo is much wider but the same height front to rear).

From automotive site___
The tire matches OEM tire rolling diameter (no impact on the Torsen Differential, ABS, or Traction Control Systems)

Well, I have aftermarket rears that are taller than stock , 295 35 20 so, I guess this wouldnt be valid for me (315 35 20 in avatar but those are dead though)

Correct, if your front/rear tire height is different (more than .2 " or so) then you can't get a spare that would be close enough to the front and rear tire height to work.

However, what's your front tire size? Those 2 rears you have listed above are only .25 " difference in height.

edit: fixed height.. it's .25" not .1

Fronts are the OEM pp1 255 40 19s currently but I have put on the 275 40 19s on the front too with 1 inch spacers, probably will put them back on in the winter. I dont want a spare Ill just pump it up and if that doesnt work I will either have it towed or use the sealant. You need a jack too to actually put a spare on.. spare + jack is probably 50 lbs of weight or so.

Yea, the 255 40/19 would be too big of a difference but the 275x40r19 would allow a spare BUT a spare big enough for that wouldn't fit in the trunk. It would have to be one of those tire/rim combos you'd put on at home so you didn't have to rush to get the tire fixed (or use if you live 30+ miles from the closest tire store).

Id pump to like 50 psi then pull over when it hit 20 and pump it to 50 again until I made it to the tire shop (or home) then go for patching I think, if possible.
