Two days ago I got a flat tire while I was at the gym. I took out the Ford fix a flat kit and by accident I put sealant in my tire. The sealant worked somewhat. It got me home but when I woke up the next morning it was flat again. However my issue now, is that when I have the wheel on my car, the hole leaks I assume because of the weight of my car. But when I take the wheel off to plug the hole, I cannot find the leak anywhere, so I assume the sealant is doing it’s job when it doesn’t have the weight on it. I put soap all over the tire and there was no leak. I even put the wheel in my pool and no bubbles came out anywhere. The wheel goes on the rear so I cannot fix it while it’s on the car. Does anyone have any suggestions for how I could fix this?

put a lot more air in tire, i used to put like 50-60psi - lots of soapy water. should work.

Do as Ock stated and also check the valve stem. The sealant may have plugged the tire but caused the valve to stick opened just a little.

Ok sounds good. So 60 psi is safe to do? I already tried going up to 45 with no luck.

I recently had a leak with my PP2 wheels. It turned out that the valve stem had either been cut or cracked. The only way I found it was when I tried to fill it with air and noticed when putting the hose on, that little wiggle, caused air to be lost. You might also check if the valve inside the stem is loose. You need a valve stem wrench to tighten it usually but they can easily be purchased anywhere tire patch kits are sold. I won't use the goo in my tire since they often ruin the TPMS. You will need to replace the sensor now. I only use the old school patch. By right, even the old school patch is a temp patch, like the goo. The only patch that is permanent is done both through the tire as well as from inside it.

All the best.
