Those angles you shot of the ruby are amazing.
The base center stack looks better here than earlier to me.
The cloth seats look very nice.
The base center stack looked better in person to me as well. I've got some more Ruby Red photos also.

I hope this is a pre production car, as it looks piss poor to me
Look at the sound deadening around the steering column, and above the foot rest, just shabby, If you have to cut the carpet, at least make it cover the sound deadening

I agree you definitely do not see this in any Euro car....prob just a pre-production oversight. I'm sure the final production ones will have a better fitting carpet. (you would think)

Doubt it. It is one of those things were Ford cuts cost because most people do not look near their pedals or clean their car themselves.

2011 GT shows a slightly better cut but still has visible layer:

Yeah my 2007 looked like that too. Just doesn't look finished.

Is that Arabic on the bottom of the sideview mirror in that close-up shot?
Interesting - definitely driving the internationality of this car home
Yup, its Arabic... let s guess what it says.... objects in mirror are closer than they appear....lol

I was really surprised to see no blind spot mirror on that side view mirror. I'd seen posts about it not being present on cars equipped with BLIS, but I hadn't put a lot of credence in them. Guess I'll have to rethink that.

Has anyone on the tour been able to ask about production/delivery schedule?
I could think of no better source than Dave Pericak himself.
They are in the "MP2" (manufacturing production) phase. I could not get any definitive times but I got the impression they are working diligently to start "soon". I did not get a set day.

There are a lot of people involved in the process for the launch, and understandably, things are changing day-by-day in terms of getting things ready for the full production. Two messages I did hear was that they are feeling excited and confident, as well as making sure that all the assembly teams were ready to execute their processes at full line speed.

Yes, that is Arabic on the mirror of the Ruby Red EB car. That mirror appears to be the export version, which has been seen in other photos and discussed previously. This car also had the regular red tail lights and the pony in the cap, so if I had to guess where it would go, I would say Middle East (Saudi Arabia). However, it could just be a test of parts as opposed to the exact combination needed for a specific country.

In the INTERIOR PICS, 5th picture down, which DASH is that and what model was it in?
The 3rd, 4th, and 5th photos are all from the base GT's interior. Here's another view of that dash.

It's stated clearly in the order guide that cars with BLIS delete the blind spot mirror.

Does the base interior have stitched together dash brows? Or is that molded -- fake stitching and all? I know my friends 2008 328 has fake leather, but it's stitched together really well, and might even wear better than most leather -- I actually didn't realize it wasn't leather.
