I don't even think that car was street legal. That was a very very limited race only version sold by Ford/SVT.

I'm speaking of anything sold in the thousands of units. I wouldn't call the S550 GT350 or GT500 mass production, but they're certainly not as unicornish as the 2000 Cobra R.

My point being that not many warrantied, buy from most dealerships type cars feature 5w-50 or anything thicker.
Maybe you should do some research on Mustang history before you go spouting something you know nothing about.

I remember a photo that got posted a few years back of a 2087-A that was removed from a 500 and the plastic core was completely collapsed. Tried like hell to find it but couldn't.
Ah yes, the time-traveling FL-2087-A that was introduced in 2024 and then went back to 2021 and took out a GT500 engine. A classic! So many pictures exist.

Guys, the FL-2087-A is purpose built for the GT350 and GT500 application just like the FL-2087 was.

The FL-2062, which was OE on the 2017.5 and 2018 GT350s, was not purpose-built. It was a filter Ford already had for other applications when they said "oh shit!" and replaced the canister filter with a cartridge one midway through the 2017 model year.

The 2062 is a GT350 filter and should NOT be used on the GT500, it will collapse with the heavier weight oil and pump system on the GT500.
Same pump and oil in the GT350, and even higher redline. So you could make the claim that this is a bigger problem for GT350s than GT500s.

Why don't you enlighten us all instead of cryptic tough guy behind a key board insults?
Would it make a difference? Did you lookup information on the 2000 Cobra R? I’ll wager you didn’t.
There are numerous books and websites that you can view to educate yourself on Mustang and Ford racing history. You will learn considerably more by educating yourself.

Just stop. Either refute what I wrote or STFU and move on. Stop throwing shit against the wall to see if it will stick.

And not for nothing, a simple "hey, there's this you missed."

I make a point about production retail vehicles and your counter point is an ultra unicornish vehicle that few people have ever seen in real life and even fewer have driven and even fewer still have owned. In fact, I'd venture that of this ENTIRE forum, there's probably less than the fingers on your hand people that have ever owned that car.

Then you wanna play tough guy over a post I wrote and can't even point out exactly how I'm misinformed.

Meanwhile, I added another half dozen last week and I'm sitting on..
