My GT Premium is going to be here in 47 LONG days. I have asked the dealer to do no prep and not to put a dealer sticker or license plate on and I will remind them soon.
I have bought a whole arsenal of Adam's Polishes stuff and was wondering if I take the car home and do a wash, clay bar, and wax, will it look perfect?

It wouldn't have swirls or anything right? It just went factory(mint paint), dealer(dirty from transit), home(back to mint).

swirls are still possible from the factory. there is no such thing as a swirl free brand new car.

That's what I did with my Tuxedo Black Raptor I ordered. No swirls in the paint. Brought it home and did a full Adam's detail.

Swirls are usually caused from dealer prep. I would ask your dealer once the car is delivered to leave the exterior untouched. No washes AT ALL till you take possession. This leaves the decontamination of rail dust etc. etc. to you and not to a dirt filled, dropped, and reused brush from the dealership.

Get it home dirty, then it was truly untouched. I made the mistake of letting the dealer prep my 2012 GT before I took delivery and they marred up the finish around the driver side 5.0 emblem and the rear left quarter. (All removed by me)

Swirl free requires you to be very detail oriented in your care. My 2012 is four year old daily driver and to this day still doesn't have an owner induced scratch. :D

If you have any questions about what I do feel free to PM.

Since it's probably more helpful to detail the process instead of leaving it to further research for the OP or via PM, I'll just post my methods.

1. Two Bucket Wash w/ Grit Guards
1a. Wash wheels/tires/fender wells at this time
2. Iron Decontamination - I use Adam's Deep Wheel Cleaner
3. Heavy Rinse and Dry
4. Clay Bar
5. Check for any scratches/swirls. There shouldn't be any, but you never know.
6. Sealant - I use Adam's Liquid Paint Sealant.
7. Glaze (optional) - Adam's Brilliant Glaze
8. Wax - Adam's Americana

Dress tires as desired. Clean glass and any plastics of residue from sealants/glaze/wax.

This is what I am planning to do when I get it
Rinse thoroughly
Deep wheel the wheels
Soap it up with shampoo(2bucket)
Wash
Rinse off
Detail spray and dry
Detail spray and clay bar
Buttery wax
Do that each oil change and wash every week or so.

I would do Liquid Paint Sealant over Buttery Wax. Or even just Americana over Buttery Wax. Buttery Wax is great for a just washed the car, have some extra time, I'll throw a quick coat of wax on it, but it just doesn't have the longevity of LSP or Americana. For your twice a year big detail, you can't beat LSP and Americana.

I bought Meguiars Ultimate (Polish/Glaze, Liquid Wax, and Quick Detailer.) also Meguiars Clay Kit. am I missing anything? First time doing a wax or anything other then just power wash.

That should work for what you need. Make sure you're using quality microfiber towels when drying and detailing.

I'd still be careful with those. They left swirls in my paint on my old truck, when I was in my early days of detailing. You want good quality microfiber from Korea, not China. Check out Adam's towels, they have a 15% off and free or $5 shipping thing going on now.

I know it sounds ridiculous to think that towels are this important, but think of it like tires. You only want the best touching your paint and you want the best tires holding your car to the road.
