I don't know how long it's been since I washed the vehicle but for sure it's been at least a couple months, probably longer. It's just been too damn HOT! But when I went outside first thing on Tuesday around 0700, it was the first time I felt some slightly cooler air instead of the solid wall of heat and humidity and I decided to wash her and she sure needed it.

After finishing the Mustang and parking her back in the garage, I gave the wife's Caddy some love. It was way dirtier than mine so I used Descale on her as she had been neglected for twice as long. Descale sure takes all the topper coatings off too. When I rinsed her, there was zero beading and blowing her off with the Metrovac took twice as long as usual because the water didn't move and had to be evaporated by the warm air. I put a coat of Amplify on the Mustang the next day and I sure do like that stuff. Plus, it was the first time using the new OG Presol spray bottle which I also like.

Didn't get any photos of the finished product as I still have to give her the Amplify treatment.

Looks great. I agree, amplify is amazing... My favorite drying aid by far...

Fall is in the air here but just barely. Weather has been beautiful, cloudless sky and temps in the upper seventies and my poor truck needed a bath in the worst way. Washed her on Wednesday and yesterday, gave her some detailing love with Reload 2, Wolfgang's trim sealant on all the black trim (which I really like,) and diluted Perl on the tires.

Got home early today and touched mine up before a car show tomorrow. Outside was already pretty clean, but I refreshed the engine bay...

Cleaner KCx Green Star 5:1
Various brushes and rinse
Blow dry most of it
Then topped with KCx Motorplast and shut the hood, let car run for about 10 minutes to finish drying everything out.
Open hood and mop up the little drips of dressing in the cracks and crevices :) It needed cleaning pretty bad, it had been probably 10 months or more and probably 10k miles. :)

Based on Deyon's writeup, I grabbed a couple CP Fingerprints and they showed up yesterday. Report to follow after the first use.

From the looks of it Alex, I'm pretty sure I will like it but only if it lasts for a good while. Been using a similar product from OG but both of them became pretty unusable after a year or so, hopefully this one will give better service.

I certainly hope so. I have 5 (FIVE) of the Dab Dab :) for the paint, and they are amazing, so if the finger one is as good, I will be pleased..
