I don't know how long it's been since I washed the vehicle but for sure it's been at least a couple months, probably longer. It's just been too damn HOT! But when I went outside first thing on Tuesday around 0700, it was the first time I felt some slightly cooler air instead of the solid wall of heat and humidity and I decided to wash her and she sure needed it.
After finishing the Mustang and parking her back in the garage, I gave the wife's Caddy some love. It was way dirtier than mine so I used Descale on her as she had been neglected for twice as long. Descale sure takes all the topper coatings off too. When I rinsed her, there was zero beading and blowing her off with the Metrovac took twice as long as usual because the water didn't move and had to be evaporated by the warm air. I put a coat of Amplify on the Mustang the next day and I sure do like that stuff. Plus, it was the first time using the new OG Presol spray bottle which I also like.
Didn't get any photos of the finished product as I still have to give her the Amplify treatment.
