First mods to your Mach 1

I don't understand the hood strut thing. Unless one is going to chrome out the engine bay, why buy them ? The prop rod works quite nicely when checking the oil or adding washer fluid.

It’s a beautiful car and engine. For myself and my friends I would like this. Do I need it? Not really. Much of all this really has little to do with need, yes?

That is my thought. Just not sure I want to fubar the hood. That could trash the resale down the road.

Ehhhh .......... Nah. I don't need it. It may look cool however I'd sooner spend the money spoiling the grandkids. Then their mother has to deal with the fallout.
