Hey

Just upgraded my FBO Ecoboost for a 5.0 50 anniversary performance package and was wondering what mods should I do first. The car currently has an x pipe with a roush axel back exhaust and a JLT Oil catch can. My goal is to have a full bolt on 5.0 and have some suspension mods so it can maneuver better just like the Ecoboost. Also temps has always been a concern for me due to driving a turbo car and I was wondering if that goes the same with N/A cars? And if so what mods would u recommend?

gonna come down to goals, budget, auto/manual? temp isnt too much of a concern, you can get a 170 thermostat and a tune if you want to lower the temps some.

A tune from a good tuner is a good first step(with or without coldair). As well as subframe alignment especially if the car has suspension misalignment. Then its really where you want to go from there. The xpipe and roush im sure is loud as is, longtubes and/or cat removal may cause an exhaust change etc etc.

BMR Cradle Lockout Kit is a great place to start. If you want power get a tune.

My first mod was a catback, then lowering springs, tune & cai and then I went straight to supercharger lol

I'd get some suspension mods though, help put the power down.

Here is how I attacked it.

Springs-Couldn't stand the 4x4 look. I just did fronts, BMR min drop.

Xpel partial, because the rock chips in the nose were killing me.

Tune- There is a lot to be had in the tune. Made the car a pleasure to drive.

CAI- Probably would skip this if I had to do it over again.

Catback- Just for sound, but you already have this.

Next round of mods is going to be Cradle lockout,K brace, dampers, and sway bars.

Drive the car for a few months so you can get to know it. Determine what you like and don't like so that you don't spend money on something you never really needed.

Thanks you guys for the suggestions. I've been driving the car for about 3 weeks and I've noticed the car needs some suspension work done due to the weights on the front and when doing sharp turns i try to slow down becuz don't feel that confident like the Ecoboost. So idk if spring will do the work or some sway bars. Also the car manual transmission for those who are wondering. Btw can I still use my old SCT accessport from my Ecoboost?

AccessPort is Cobb. It does not support GT tuning.
