This!
I forgot to add this but on the verts Borla 2.5" is all that will fit and Corsa and ARH still don't have systems with will fit verts if I'm not mistaken. I do think MBRP just recently brought one to market but BE VERY certain what you buy will fit!
Yes Corsa is taking an eternity. Beginning of the year they promised one but now we are getting to the end of summer. I got tired of waiting so I just went with the GT500 mufflers in May.

Kooks and Magnaflow offer 3 inch 304SS for the verts.

Oh and Solo but that's 409SS.

It will be a lot louder without the suitcase resonator on there. I hope you want more loud and more rasp. If you do you will be happy.
Yeah, I've always liked LOUD when it came to V8's. Plus I really don't do any distance driving or commuting with the car, it's more to cruise around in. That being said, I will be keeping the resonator in storage, just in case. :D My brother had a new 02' GT years ago, he took off the cats, ran 2.5 pipes to 2 chamber Flowmasters, it sounded awesome, and could be heard blocks away. I want that sound.... well maybe not as loud, but close. haha

My wife's 2016 with super 10s and X pipe with the resonator gone is about as close as it gets to that sound. I had a 99GT as my first car.

I have the MBRP Street and it does not have drone (the race does). It has a good deep growl during normal acceleration, but it does get frappy/rasp(?) on WOT, but I enjoy it.

Here a a cold start video after I installed it: [ame]

I have the Street also and yours seems a it louder at idle. Sounds about the same when it's cold though. Maybe it's just where yours is angled upward on the ramps though.

OP..The system has drone at about 1500-1800 RPM, which you might hear if you're in 60th gear at 50mph. I'm not really in that zone much anyway but it doesn't bother me. It sounds normal at interstate speeds in 6th, which will be in the 2,200 and slightly higher range.

I wasn't gonna buy the Street because of the rasp I heard in the youtube videos, but one popped up on craigslist for $400 with 1,500 miles on it. I was gonna get an H pipe anyway, so I figured I'd give the whole thing a shot considering the great price. I love the low end. It sounds like a heavy breathing monster, then roars with a bit more gas. The rasp at high RPM sounds better from outside the car than it does from the cabin. I like it. The black tips look cool on my black car too.

Right on, congrats on your new toy!

If you like to do all your own work (like I do) I would make your first mod a set of jacking rails. I got the MBRP street system (after the rails) and I'm pretty happy with it.

yeah I've been very careful to make sure that the exhausts I've been looking at are convertible compatible. The MBRP has an option for both.
I had three different redesigns by MBRP because of the exhaust hitting my convertible brace. They finally authorized a return and I went with a Magnaflow... The unit fit perfectly with no rubbing issues... I can tell you it's a pain in the ass to off/on with the convertible and brace...

Good luck
