Yeah and I almost always use top tier gas. Usually Shell V-Power Nitro. And I drive my car harder (In addition to 67k miles, a good amount of track/HPDE work)

Always top tier here, plus a few months of E85. My can always catches a few ounces of oil between oil changes. It's not so much about carbon deposits as fuel contamination in this engine. Everything looked remarkably clean when I did my manifold install.A crucial factor here is where you get your gasoline from. Top Tier gas like Shell and Costco will keep your engine cleaner. I'd love to see someone Borescope a 5.0 using a catch can vs a car without one. Then a separate test with a 5.0 using mom and pop gasoline vs a 5.0 using just Shell gas. Carbon deposits shouldn't be much of an issue compared to a DI only car.
That makes sense especially on a tuned 5.0. You ever use any fuel system cleaner like Chevron Techron or ZMAX?Always top tier here, plus a few months of E85. Yes, I've used Techron once. That makes sense especially on a tuned 5.0. You ever use any fuel system cleaner like Chevron Techron or ZMAX?
I always use Top Tier here as well
+1 on the Red Line. After touring their facility here in the Bay Area I use RLO from front to back. Water wetter, Motor, trans,Diff and fuel system treatments. Top notch stuff.^^^ Redline SI-1 Fuel System cleaner works very well.
