What an amazing car!! As some may know, I've only been able to lurk and post opinions without actual ownership for the last 3 months while waiting for the universe to bring me and my new 19 GT PP1 together. Still work shopping a name somewhere around Rubi and Christine lol. Picked her up with 3.9 on the clock and preceded to drive all over the place to park her at the end of day 1 with 167 miles on said clock. Today's mission after work is to rearrange the garage and move my work bench. Stupid new houses and their tiny garages lol.
So reading over posts the last 3 months worried me about a few things like low end torque, and fitment issues. Upon arrival at the dealership I took a long time just going over all the seems in the body work and making sure everything lined up witch it all did. The entire dealer experience was great but my sales guy has a modded 18 GT PP1 and is a true enthusiast and now friend. I was able to compartmentalize and make sure I got a good deal based on my credit score and financial stuffs (I had 3 months to prepare). After leaving the dealership, I drove the long way everywhere getting a feel for her and generally in an absolute automotive high. This car is extremely comfortable and I had zero cares about going 10 under the speed limit because of the person in front of me doing so for no apparent reason. It was day one and full of novelty so I'm 100% sure that will fade quick lol. My commute to work and again on my way home will be full of detours likely doubling or tripling my distance traveled. Everything works as intended and per the manual I've kept it under 4k rpm and taking it really easy. In doing so, I can already tell there is an absolute beast waiting for that 1k miles mark to be unleashed. Coming from a Mini Cooper JCW that I modified pretty well, I enjoy the space although not too much more. As you can see in the pics it's a tight fit in the garage but it'll be rectified ASAP. I have a ton of mods that will happen eventually but as of now (day 2), I'm not in any rush at all.
