Dig the ruby red. I bought 2 2019 301a cars on the 13th of this month, one velocity blue (wifes), mine is ruby red. I've got 800 miles on mine, and both have been great. Non-rhythmic, almost sporatic tick like lighting a bbq pit, I'm not worried about. I had a 2015 Tahoe that was DI, and from what I gather, real world experience, not internet experts, is that's just DI noises. From my experiences, cars driven the hardest from new run the best. Wife wanted the auto, I got one too, always been a big stick guy, but I have plans for this car that are better suited with the auto.

The BBQ tick thing falls into the realm of good till it's not. Have 5 years before I really start worrying. I honestly don't think it matters how a car is driven during "break in" as long as it sees a full spectrum of use from baby to smash it throughout it's life. It's the luck of the draw and how much human error is in the manufacturing process on your build week. Glad you're both enjoying your cars! I tried the auto in a test drive but just wasn't for me, LOVE the manual every day.

Which x pipe did you install ?
Roush. Still sounds great! Although, time is ticking and eventually I'll be getting some axlebacks.

Thank you it will be my first mod.
It doesn't change the tone much if at all, just makes it a little louder in the vehicle. You'll be glad you did it. I may be saying ef the neighbors, wife, and the possibility of noise laws and get the Roush axlebacks soon. Not in a rush because it sounds great, I just want a little more volume lol

Already have the Roush axle backs, installed by previous owner, so wanted to add x pipe, might as well do the Roush and match it to the mufflers.

This weekend I put on some black lugs to scratch the mod itch. Made a nice subtle difference.

Been a while and needed to scratch the itch. Got a gt350 steering wheel. Feels amazing and looks great. Install was fairly easy once you get the airbag off. Was a pain to push a spring in with one hand and pull the center of the wheel with the other. Once that was finally out it was smooth sailing. I kept the smokey chrome bezels but buttons all have to be swapped out. Again super easy.
