Hi Guys,

I've probably had too many cocktails, but feeling very fortunate! I guess I just wanted to share with other car people that would "get it". This picture is from today, it's the first car I ever bought and the last car I bought, and they are parked next to each other in my garage! I bought the Fiero when I was about 24, and when I was ready to sell it, my dad convinced me that he wanted it. He bought it from me and drove the car until the heater core puked, and then it sat for 10 years. We got it back on the road this summer. After a new heater core, an A/C conversion, new headliner, etc, it is road worthy and I've been enjoying driving it. BTW, he gifted it back to me!

Appreciate the post, cocktail influence is apparent, if you never bought another car then the title is correct, if you do buy another car in your life, then the title should read first and most recent bought, lol.

Also I see a few typing errors, lol.

Every time I see a nice looking late model Stang parked by anything else I always admire just how good the Stang looks.

People like their cars,it's just a thing I guess, I loved my Ford Probe GT, neat little car for the price, stylish, pop-up headlights, big stock tires on the back, a hatch that could haul a motorbike and a fantastic semi rare mazda engine in the thing, loved it.

Very Cool! I have my first car sitting next to my current one as well, although I don't have a good picture sadly.

I still regard the Fiero as an under-developed and under-appreciated gem. It's high on my list of "just because" when I think about getting another desirable car. Not close to the early Lotus Elan, but on the same spectrum.

O.K......now it's time for everyone to post pictures of their first car, and their current car.

I had a sweet, sweet 1981 Renault Alliance (or as my father called it, an "Appliance"). As Oliveir Panis would ask "What ees thees shit box?"

And now my beloved 2019;

I do not have a picture of my first 2 cars. 1953 Chevy Belair and 1965 Chevy Belair. I do have a picture of my 3rd car, 1965 Olds 442, 4 spd.

So wish I had pictures of my first two cars.. 1978 and 1979 (or maybe 80) Ford Fiesta's.

Here is a picture of my first mustang, a 1984 5.0 convertible. A pretty awesome car for an 18 year old me to buy and pay for himself (including the insurance... OUCH).View media item 16002
And my new love..

Friend of mine got a new Fiero GT as a 16th birthday present (yes this ages me). Man, we drove the crap out of that car. Great memories... Thanks for posting.

Noting some consistency in your color choices. Nice rides! Had that same Fiero in black way back when. Also had the original model in red.

I was 19 at the time didn't know what I had!! I had problems with it leaking oil from the huge HEADS it had o-rings around the water & oil ports no head gasket. Ford bought it back ( only had 3,000 mile /90 day warranty from factory). I got a 70 BOSS 302 in exchange. WISH I had both back!! Still love my mustangs have a 1986 Mustang GT t-top ,1998 SVT Cobra & a 2018 GT PP1 in the barn . I believe the 2018 will probably out run the 429 & 302 in a quarter mile. The 429 was Maroon Metallic, the 302 was Grabber Orange the 2018 is Orange Fury real close to the Grabber Orange

This. Particularly the late examples that finally got the suspension that the car deserved from the beginning....
