pyrophilus, please trade-in your Mustang with another Nissan ASAP. Ford isn't for you.
No, I don't think so. What I am realizing is that this forum isn't for me...
It's apparently for people that are so "proud" of their American mustang, that we should all live with dash rattles, mechanical sounds from the car, and other problems.

I realized that when people inquire about heated seats, backup cameras, navigation, premium packages, or any other creature comfort, they get pounced on by folks telling them that's not what a Mustang is about and how they should go get a different car.

I am a car nut. If you put wheels on it, I'll like it (except for a Prius, I don't get that and don't think ever will), so I really don't care if you purchased a '88 Escort or a '15 Ferrari, I will be ecstatic for/with you. I just thought that's what a support group is about, fans of the car sharing ideas and supporting each other.

For what it's worth, I did really enjoy most of my time here, I read this site probably about an hour a day. I truly do appreciate the folks on here that did give good advise, but I just can't stand the "be quiet! your ideas/comments are stupid, so instead of helping you, I am going to "Educate" you on how I think you should think.

Thank you for the help, and good luck everyone.

OP, you really do come across as an attention seeking kinda guy.

Look at your thread you posted on Ecoboost MPG. You post a thread, and you then reply as the 2nd post with a snarky comment about what people will likely tell you.

Grow a spine, take a little hazing, and enjoy being a part of a community that has room for everyone.

For every diehard guy who will be making 1,000 rwhp by next year, there is a guy that just wants to know where to buy his favorite stripe kit.

Know where you lie in the community, do your part, and just have fun in the meantime. Until then, no more I'm taking my ball and going home posts.

LMAO.......he was told exactly what dealership has Night Dropoff (Leo Kaytes) as that's his main concern and still didn't take it there. Instead he chooses to leave the forum.

LOL

Wow. You're writing essays of complaints over and over for something that has NOTHING to do with Ford in general. I had horrible service with a BMW dealer around here before. They screwed up my previous BMW and gave me the runaround. After my lease was up, I still got another BMW after that, from a different dealer. I simply service my BMW from that other dealer now.

Ford dealers around me gave me great service. You are being too prissy, and it's annoying. Old smelly couches?

New cars can have issues. One my BMWs had major issues when I got it new. I had a Benz with transmission issues after 2 years. That's what a warranty is for, and you have one. Use it. But don't expect all dealers to hold your car for you, without officially checking it in through a service appointment.

+1. Old smelly couches? Get off the high horse and walk in like all of the other peasants like us and get your car serviced like a man. Then drop is off and have a friend pick you up and drop you back at the end of the day so you dont have to sit on the "smelly couches" with us normal peasants; whining and being a child and stomping your feet to leave a forum doesn't help anything. Or drop it at night drop. People have given you options and wasted their time explaining it, yet you would rather whine than listen and demand Ford put you on a pedestal.

This thread is/was completely pointless from the beginning. Someone wants special attention and the dealership won't give it, so it's come here kicking and screaming about how bad Ford is.

Sorry, if I was a dealer I wouldn't want to store customer cars on my insurance/liability dime, that were not in to be fixed, just to appease you. Because one ding and that customer gets irate and sues or demands it be fixed on my dime.

The car makes the sound when cold, everyone gets it by now. Sit and wait like a big boy for the car to cool down, in maybe 2 hours a car is completely cool, and then have them look at it; or leave and come back later via a ride. Just like us peasants have to do too. Or, as others graciously took their time to explain, leave it in the night drop-off and they will hear it when they get to the car in the morning. A car will make the sound when cool regardless of time of day, otherwise its in your mind.

The Ford dealership is not your personal garage you can sit around doing nothing on your vacation time anyway and then you get all whiny because they don't want to bend to help you. Be a man an deal with your responsibilities; many of us have to use vacation/sick time just to have time to deal with our problems/errands too.

I totally agree with the OP, I had an Audi and they sent a flat bed for it...of course it was broken down in my garage and wouldn't move. That was after it caught fire while my wife was driving it, and of course there were the five power steering pumps it ate, the defective battery and... Sorry..I am just tired of people pitching a "fit" over U.S. cars and dealers. Dealers are independent business people, so file a complaint with the BBB, don't condemn Ford.

Quite honestly, I have never had problem with any of the dealers I have dealt with. When I took my 2011 GT/CS in for a noisy rear, they gave me a loaner, called at the end of the day to let me know they replaced the differential, but the tech still felt a vibration when testing it, and wasn't happy with it. He called Ford and they overnighted a drive shift which was installed the following day. I picked up the car at 3:00. So, some dealers are great, shop around.

As for storing your car for a week, that is an insurance issue and has nothing to do with the dealer. It's called liability.
