Just canceled my order for my LE
It's to bad I was so looking forward to it, and was so disappointed when I finally saw one

You saw an LE? What specifically didnt you like?
It was a ecoboost, but still a mustang. Just wasn't impressed with the design. The layout, and design just didn't do it for me. Trust me I wanted to like it, and am sad I had to do this

Though we will see what roush does with the mustang, maybe I will like that version

I still have a 600rwhp mustang, so it isn't like I am without a mustang

Sorry you feel that way. Honestly to me it seems like in the back of your mind you were looking for a way out and needed something to convince yourself to do it. The red you saw isn't the most flattering of colors on s550, nor were it's options. I think once you see an LE you might regret your decision. You could have waited ya know till you saw "Your" car. It's an LE I doubt the dealer would care, he's gonna sell it. Probably for more than you were gonna get it for. But it's your money.

A 5.0 looks different than a EB... the LE will look even more different.

Everything I have read so far says greatly improved low end torque and that works for me :)

Sorry to hear about that man. Hopefully when the SVT model or whatever it's going to be gets released, you'll come back to the Mustang side.

Considering the price bracket you are open are shopping in, as oj5OH implied, you may also want to wait to see what the GT350 is like.

I agree, as you would probably be happier with the GT350 as well, given how much you like performance. It being a GT350 is celebratory of the 50th anniversary in it's own right. As i recall the GT350 was last available in 64 or 65.

Sorry to hear that it didn't meet your expectations. I hope your standards are far higher than mine, because I too really want to like it.

Earlier you had mentioned looking at the C7. FWIW, I drove one for a few days that the Ron Fellows Driving School (I am also thinking of the C7, but really want the extra seats the Mustang provides. I'm waiting for the GT350 and then will likely make a decision). Anyway, the C7 was a really cool car. I already was a fan of the looks, but it is also great to drive. I have a lot of track experience, but that car is quite a different experience than my Z due to the massive increase in power. The handling on the C7 is also very well dialed in, and I was able to control oversteer without terrible drama even @ 80 MPH or so (the traction management system was great as well, not at all annoying). The interior was very nice (although the non-symmetric layout bugs me a little). You can get a nice HUD, it's got a decent stereo system, and all the modern phone integration crap that I don't care about but which is still useful in some situations.

The LT1 engine is very strong, with excellent low and mid-range torque. It falls off a bit up top, but still pulls strong to redline. Sounds great too.

Anyhow, I'd definitely recommend taking a strong look at one. If you don't need more than two seats its an easy recommendation over the M4 from my perspective. Quite a bit more exciting looking and sounding, with much more personality. Just sitting in one, not moving at all is pretty exciting.

Anyhow, best of luck and I'd be interested in hearing what you end up doing.

The GT350 was from 1965-1970. The '65-66 models were built by Shelby then control was moved over to Ford from '67-70.
