I got to see one today
Take this with a grain of salt, as I know this is a pre production car

Just felt cheep to me, yes the seats more comfortable, but the interior just felt cheep. I am not a fan of the automatic floor shifter, so much cheeper than the 11-14 shifter. I do like the telescoping steering column, but the switches on the dash felt cheep. I am not a fan of the light switch, or the turn signals, wiper stalks, hate them in my focus too, I can live with them.

The worst thing was when I went to shut the drivers door, I pushed on the window, and it was loose, and felt broken. Not nice and sturdy like on my 2011

Yes this is a pre production car, so lets just hope this is a fluke
Thanks for keeping a Boston Area appearance a secret...apparently? WTF?

I know I am nit picking, and realize this is a pre production car, but I have been so excited, it was a bit of a let down. I bleed Ford Blue, and with all the hype, was hoping for a lot better first impression.

I do like the looks of the car, and think with my Performace package wheels it will look a lot better. I don't know why they would send out a car with the 18 inch wheels, you would think Ford would want the spec out these cars with the best equipment available, after all you only get one chance to make a first impression. If it had the performance package wheels, higher trim level interior I am sure it would have made a much better impression on me.

But now I have to think if I really want this car. Since mine is a LE and I would have to pay a mark up, Should I buy this, or pay a little extra and go for a BMW M4 which was my other choice, or wait and get a Roush stage 3
It's probably the color, that didn't agree with you..?

I just saw a s550 5.0 today on the road (same color), I paced it, looking at the brakes, and suspension, trying to get the guys to step into it a bit. But that color isn't for me and didn't want to look at it long.

Had it been another color, I probably would've asked him to pull over..

The low end torque in the Coyote is awesome, especially with a 3.73 rear end. I can only imagine how this new Coyote is going to be but you're definitely going to enjoy it! My brother has a 2012 RT and the Coyote is just better in every way, except the sound.. That HEMI with the rear resonator delete is just intoxicating compared to my old 2012 GT.
I've actually had a slightly different experience with my Coyote. I find the low end to be a bit weaker than I'd like, but it pulls like a freight train above 4K. Now I will throw out the disclaimer that I'm running 3.31 gears. 3.73s could very well help a lot. I've never driven a Coyote with them.

I've ordered a '15 GT with PP. I'm hoping that Ford's changes to the motor combined with 3.73s and their (as yet unannounced) Trackey will make a huge difference for me.

My main concern is the 5.0 the 5.7 in my Challenger is a torque monster which is fun for under 60. I just hope that low end instant torque will be there on the 5.0.

I hated the 3.7 and how it didn't feel strong until after 3500 rpm
As having driven a 5.7 and 5.0 back to back within 1.5 hours of each other you will not miss your bouncing off the rev limiter dump truck engine the first time you drive your LE.

Yeah the red line bouncing is horrid and you can't even change it because of the crappy internals and the unbalanced HP. When I first bought it I bounced off the redline for a week. Lots of noise and gobs of dump truck torque but that's about it. Sorry for threadjack.

Hmmm, I can understand where you're coming from on that. However, I think these cars like tall gearing, especially with a few mods.. A friend of mine had only a cat delete and a tune w/3.31's and that thing ran STRONG.

I am very seriously thinking of that. Even though it is one of the fastest mustangs around, with the money I would be saving could be made even sicker. For under 10 grand could have a low 9 second mustang. Guess it's time for 800+rwhp
LOL Come on Don, don't post stuff like that on here. The late Bill Foley's '93 Cobra was running VERY low '11's on a stock short block back in 1995-96 until Eric got kicked off the track because of no roll bar (it was a real street car- I rode out to NY will Bill in his car that November day Bob set the World Record at the time for the first Centrifically Supercharged Car to run in the 7's. And that was in a very small small block motor. Oh and it started snowing, still have the video.

I'll be happy to take your $10K if you only want to run in the 9's LOL, We had Durso's car doing that until the moron kept running the car when he was told to put it on the trailer then proceeded to split (another stock block casting) down the mainline and almost wipe out the car.

My 2013 Auto with 3.15's ran a 12.7 first day I bought it with 50 miles on it ...that being said it does have decent low end not as good as as a camaro or 5.7 hemi but close. After 4k the hemi nor the ss camaro comes close. Now that I have long tubes the torque (30+ lbs) is there under 3k rpm.

I think a tune probably makes a big difference (mine is 100% stock). I know Ford Racing touts that the ProCal can increase low end torque by up to something like 50lb/ft. I'm sure 3rd party tunes offer similar or better results in that regard. If those kind of improvements down low really are obtainable, that would be a very noticeable improvement on the butt dyno for sure.

I'm hoping the 3:73s pick up for that low end.

It should but if you arent sastified still, just install some long tubes  Long tubes and tune made a huge difference. Up next is CJ intake.

I noticed that when researching fords tunes. I can't imagine there is really that much tq to be had down low left on the engines plate. When I saw it I always assumed the stock tune has a bunch of tq management and that is why the gains are so dramatic down low when getting a tune.
