Congrats everyone. I'm getting so sick of trying to explain to people that I think I have a car on order but not 100% sure. Then I tell them that I have no idea when I'll get said car. They just look at me with a confused face.

Lol - I know what you mean! I hear "got your car yet?" constantly! ..then "When are you going to get it", "Is it still going to be a 2016?"...."Why don't you just go to the dealer and buy one?".... sigh.

Exactly! I even got a text last week from a friend that was at a Ford dealer. "I'm here at the dealer and they have an R in the showroom. Are you interested?" I was skeptical and said to send a pic of the window sticker. Low and behold it was the famous GT350 with a registered trademark symbol next to it.

congrats !! what location is the dealer located ? trying to understand if ford is now scheduling production build for the Texas Houston and Dallas Ford Dealerships

So when I talked to FP, they solidly confirmed that the reason for the wait is the tires...a few other people have been told the same thing.

FP:ford: is the one that told me !! I had them look into it and got the call from them today....and yes that is a Build Day...Still not a VIN yet, but I guess that come later? Anyone? :shrug: For me Im just happy that there is progress. Dallas Dealer....FYI P.S. My birthday is May 27th so it is looking like it might be a present to myself.....:cheers:

I thought a build week comes with VIN assignment, so to have a date without a VIN is news to me.
