P-1X + Stock 18/19 Mustang + E85 + Sticky tires = Wheelie at the track.

Literally, every single power adder for these cars is basically enough to put you into the mid 9's on E85.
If not the 8's with the correct supporting mods. Driver, Suspension, and tires seem to be the biggest factors I see. Oh and tuning. I have rode in some DOG slow S550's with really big "dyno numbers"

Pick whatever makes you happy, then invest in some really really good tires. :)
Then just smile every day. :)

So what about a ‘16 auto convertible? What will it run on track rentals with a tech guy with a blind eye...

Thanks for the replies!

How about the auto guys... what do you feel?

Tune will likely be Lund as that’s who I’ve sued so far.

What about the Whipple or Edelbrock guys, how do those feel? Turbos?

Thanks again!
Love my Edelbrock, It hits hard from 2500-8k.

16 stage 2 whipple Auto car on the whipple tune. I drive in toggle sport mode all the time. I use the paddle shifters 90% of the time as well. Putting in D will result in major wheel spin with any extra throttle. With the paddles your can control the wheel spin much better. Im running 305s MT sport comps the shitty summer tire, and they suck balls. Once they are worn out I have some Nitto 555R DRs for the street. My car is a street car only. The whipple just makes the car FUN. Without FI the car just felt real slow to me. FI is a must.
