What would you describe the actions that took place at various tuner shops last year with fed agents? There were quite a few threads about it at the time. Kinda sounded like enforcement to me……
I'm talking end user obviously, it's no different than weed. It's irrelevant what's federally illegal if the states don't care much like weed. The end user isn't concerned as it's impossible to enforce.

Fair point. But I would think it’s safe to assume that during these raids on shops, records were taken. I know how that works out in the firearms community. It doesn’t end well for the end users.

Hello; That somehow, we private end users will avoid being affected by the authorities is not realistic. That we have been subjected to mandates which force medical treatments (injections) onto us ought to be a clue as to how far things can go.

Since I've had a couple drinks, I'll add my none political opinion as well. This is not a hot political item. If cats reduced CO2 then the above two post would be more applicable. Guns and the jab are a hot item, most people don't know what nox are, however I could see scientific claims that cats reduce co2, then we'd be in trouble.

I use to think this way as well... until I decided to scroll through the EPA website and found that a company local to me had been fined for deleting two of their work trucks. I have no info as to what lead the EPA to them, but I would suspect their name came up in a database in a raid. While I realize they won't come after all of us, they will eventually pick a few to make an example of.

Well at least with electric cars I won’t have to worry about emissions anymore 🤣. Update from the tuner. He has gotten 3 out of 4 sensors to go on. Working on the last one. Once he gets the last one he will save both tunes for me so I can pass emissions and enjoy a spirited ride once in awhile. Got to say this experience modding my mustang sucked.

That's good.
I had a feeling it was the tune all along as I posted. Good luck man.

You just proved my point, they went after a company not the individual owner. I'm not concerned in the slightest about the EPA catching me. The same goes for the weed industry. Federal law means very little to 99% when the state law is on your side.

Except most of those mandates have been shot down in court for being unconstitutional now

Your words were that they wouldn’t go after an end user, so I technically proved you wrong rather than proving your point. The fact that they went after an end user should be concerning to us all, wether it’s a company or individual. This was a small local business performing the work only for themselves. It’s only a matter of time before it’s an individual. Much like the copyright infringements of downloading music or pay-per-view events, they will eventually make an example out of at least a handful of individuals to rectify the untouchable attitude of many like yourself. Until you show us a state who has “legalized the removal of emissions equipment” your entire “weed” argument is weak.

You might change your feeling on that idea if you ever fill out a 4473. State law isn’t worth the paper it’s written on when it comes to federal violations

You technically didn't prove anything. I was referring to the end user, meaning a personal individual not a private business, try again junior

The EPA and DEA work the same way, they go after businesses not private citizens for the majority of the cases, it's the literally the same thing you dunce

So we are resorting to name calling now? Somehow that doesn't surprise me.

And a business purchasing a product and using it isn't an end user? Got it.

Again...Until you show us a state who has “legalized the removal of emissions equipment” your entire “weed” argument is weak.

How far do most people drive to complete a drive cycle? I have three systems I need to go green. The heated cats, and the Oxygen sensor as well as the the heated O2. I literally drove the car to mexico from dallas and back to dallas I then drove the car to east texas before driving to Oklahoma and back to dallas. Same same issue I can't get them to go green. VMP gave me their emissions tune. I'm really considering going back to stock. I had to install a 18 manifold because the OEM's was all backordered.

LMFAO
Not laughing at you, just the way you worded that. Was great.

Are you running all emissions complaint equipment? If not, start with that and then run your emissions compliant tune.
Good luck!
