Hey guys, currently running these lugs on my Project6GR Seven wheels. They’re fine and work well, I just want something that looks like factory lug nuts, or as close to, and fits the wheels. Just looking for options that you guys have ran or recommend. Thanks.

This is what I purchased.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/234178399839

My CS-5 wheels have deep lug wells, so the locking splines are not visible unless you intentionally look down the barrels.
Because my wheels have narrow diameter holes, the lug wells are more vulnerable to abrasion, so I've padded the key-socket to minimize damage. Your wheels seem to have deep narrow wells also, so you'll want to do some investigation before purchasing, to ensure fit.

Gorilla, although you need the tuner style (smaller diameter) lugs for the 6GR wheels. I believe Gorilla makes them in the hex pattern vs the spline, if not, the spline work fine (I have them on my summer set). Unless you’re right up on the wheel and staring down the lugs, nobody notices

Thank you Mags, would the hex pattern be what resembles the stock lugs then? I’ll see if I can find those!

Found it interesting vibe Motorsport makes the same wheels that can fit stock lugs, but you can see they cut out more of the wheel. I remember project6gr specifically said they didn’t do that because they didn’t like the rigidity of the wheel with them being able to use stock lugs. Seems most if not all aftermarket wheels take the tuner style.

Thank you, those look very similar to what I’m looking for! I’ll take a look at them

Correct, the hex pattern is what the stock lugs are. Here’s the Gorilla small diameter

So those are exactly what I’m looking for, these are the same ones you sent, just chrome which I want as well.
https://www.cjponyparts.com/gorilla-lug-nut-kit-small-diameter-chrome-mustang/p/WHLLN16/

Though I’m wondering it looks like the ones I’m running currently are 2.16in in length? Is that correct or am I reading this wrong?
IMG_3505.webp

Why I ask is they sit pretty recessed already in the front wheel, as shown
IMG_2828.webp

Where as the rear wheel they sit pretty far out, which I actually dislike the look of, as shown
IMG_4445.webp

Does this mean I’m stuck using ones like this? As they’re 2in in length.

I’d love to be able to use the ones from the first link that you guys recommended, just want to ensure compatibility first, if you guys are able to. Sorry for all the questions in advance!

You have the R spec wheels, right? As long as you didn’t put longer studs on, you should be good. Easiest way to check is take a lug nut off (one front wheel and one rear wheel), and measure how much stud length you need to cover to get the lug to seat.

Yes they’re the R spec wheels, 19x11 24mm fronts, 19x11.5 rears. I didn’t touch the studs or anything, so everything is bone stock other than the wheels themselves. I suppose worst case I could do that too in the spring!

@MAGS1 I looked at some pics on project6gr’s site, it’s making more sense to me how the shorter ones will work anyways, how it’s dependent on the studs not the wheels. Kinda a noob question on my end LOL sorry

The ones on 6GR's pictures are open ended acorn lugs. Required for most tracks.

You can just get shorter spline drive ones like you have. Those ones are stupidly long

Just pulled the trigger on these, can’t beat the Black Friday price. I’ll update with pics in the spring when she’s out of storage if I remember lol.

I've been using the black version of these for years and they work fine.
