Expansion valve

I have changed out an A/C evaporator on a 2015 Mustang due to leak but now I believe the expansion valve is bad. Is it possible to replace it from engine bay?

Yes, per the shop manual it can be removed from the engine bay, just a couple of bolts after the lines are disconnected.

@Rod Schneider Can you please share the shop manual? I need to replace the Expansion Valve but have no idea how to disconnect them AC lines.
