Hey OP, what were the symptoms you had a bent valve? You didn't say. Curious about when it happened, or how you noticed that. Thank you, and good luck.
Hi there,
I had it diagnosed by a mechanic that said number 5 cylinder bent valve!
Not sure which valve yet.
Took it to the ford dealer will know in a few days what’s wrong...
IMO the timing chain skipped a tooth...

A few days before it happened I started the car drove for five minutes and I heard her a bearing sound a whining sound very slight and it went away then a few days after started the car again drove for five minutes at a stoplight it started shaking so I pulled over and parked

Hey guys
Quick update
The service department at the dealer said that the head is bent I need a new head ford will cover part of the repairs!

No one at the dealer told me why they think the intake valve spring broke....as far as I’m concerned it could happen again!!!

I’m getting a price from the dealer to replace the valve springs of the other head
I don’t think it’s a good idea to drive with used springs on one head and new ones on the new head...

Should I replace the spark plugs?
The existing one off of the number five cylinder is a little over the .50 mark on the spark plug gaper...
I just think it’s a good idea to replace all the spark plugs now and start fresh!

What do u guys think,
Should ford pay or partially pay for the the replacement of the valve springs of the other head? Just for my peace of mind???
I just don’t want to have more issues after it’s all done...

Thanking you all again for your inputs!!! šŸ˜€
