Honestly I wanna do turbo but I wanna do procharger too it’s a hard choice. Leaning more towards procharger since I wanan experience somthing new but tuboes aren’t bad at all! I’m keeping my decently stock for a lil bit then doing fbo!
Turbos are what dreams are made of. I would also take a procharger, but them ESS look more affordable for what they bring to the table from what I have read on here. I still have a long way to go before I get there. Maybe Ill wait for the economy to crash & should be more affordable by then lol.

I wanna do vortex cux of that amazing loud blow off valve! But I also wanna kinda get something supercharged bc most cars these says are turboed so I can also by something that boosted stock by a turbo. Plus the exhaust note wont change much since turbos muffle a good bit of sound. Ik ill end up with a procharger or a turbo but not a huge fan of those other brands even tho its really the same thing just a lil bit different.

Yeah the blow off valve is a cool sound I miss. Used to have a 95 RX7 & it was sweet every time Id shift. On3 would be a nice option if I didnt have to recharge my a/c after due to my local ford shop being a nightmare to deal with. Twins too pricey & dont even include the exhaust manifolds so its not even a full kit like they claim to be. Imo for +10k it should include the manifolds, tune, & fuel system. I dont have $ to wipe my rear with lol. 3k for add on exhaust manifolds, thats highway robbery. Single turbos if I recall make you lose your front sway bar & all though I plan on drag racing, I also plan on taking a whack at road course racing in Topeka. I want an all around fun toy car. But enough of me derailing your thread lol

I didn’t know that about the turbo kit dang that sucks that’s means it’s basically a drag car or a straight long car at that point. Yea same here. I wanna be able to make 1000hp with no issues but I really just wanna drive around at like 600-700hp. I want it to be a absolute roll race machine at 1000hp but a car you can still take to do daily things if needed like pick up kids or just drive to work and not worry about blowing something up. The only reason I’d pick like a procharger over like a wipple is because I don’t want a major change in that throttle response. Like to me it might be fine cuz I drive the car alot but like when someone else drives it and just think it’s a basic v8 then they soon to realize it’s not and by that time it’s to late.

I agree with you there. I feel like the lower torque & how linear & smooth the torque comes in from a centri helps break less stuff & keep better control of the car off the line.

Yea at the end it depends on what you wanna build the car for, my friend isn’t a massive racer or anything but he like more visual parts, so I think he’s just gonna do bolt ons and call it a day or maybe do just a exhaust but I’m more of a performance person over that all visual stuff but I do like some visual parts but performance is mostly gonna come first for me.

Only visuals Im doing are the ones I usually do & did on my last 5.0. Black some of the lights, casual shoes, lowering, & something on the rear diffuser. Inside will stay same other than hursts shifter & weather matts. The rest will be suspension & boost. I have most of that already minus the boost. Bought it all a few months ago before the car itself lol. But just this last week the last item arrived. Now I just need a warm day in the garage to get it all done. Im excited

I wanna do some parts install on my own but most the stuff I don't have all the tool nore do I wanna break something cuz its my daily so I don't wanna be stuck with no car lol. Ik something's like bags I can do with some friends but like i don't feel like losing a finger to a spring.

Please post pics and video of your exhaust setup once you get it installed. I’m looking for ideas for the perfect setup with dumps for the track.

Yeah the springs are a little dangerous to do if you dont have a decent vice & sprong compressors. I did mine over 4 times already & lent out my spring compressors a few times. Last time I looked at them the threads looked a little worn. They the cheap Harbor F ones. One of the times I did them it was almost to the end & the nut flew off & spring flew up about 2 feet. If my face would of been in the way I would of had a broken jaw or k.o'd myself lol. I went to my local alignement shop & owner knows I do all my work so she told me they would happily swap my springs for me for $20. So Ill just take them off myself & take them to her just to switch springs. Cant comlain though, used the tool enough times to get my $'s worth out of it. Went from stock, to Eibachs, then to Bmr's, then to Bmr's for gt500 after blower, then again when doing new struts & twice on my daily honda beater. Ill try to get all my parts on tomorrow or next week.

Yea that’s the exact reason I’m not doing them on this car or any of my other car lol. I will do bags myself or coilz but not lowering springs! I’d rather pay a mechanic to do it for like $300 vs being in the hospital for a dumb reason and a bill higher then $300. I never thought bout removing the whole assembly then letting someone else remove the coil that’s sounds like a much better idea haha. I don’t wanan go extremely low cuz AL roads arnt the best, but 1.5 in the front ans .5 in the rear on a pp1 so it’ll be sitting pretty low. Hopefully don’t scrape everything, but I’m expecting to do so.

Yeah next time Ill buy a better tool for the springs or rent the free one from an auto parts store. I was 1.5 low in the front last time around & scraped in my drive way every time. This time I went with a minimum drop from Steeda.

I would def cuz i fee like thats the one think thats kinda scary removing it. It can just seriously leave you with a injury. Seems legit, my drive way isnt that bad i know I wont scrape there but most my friends house have some steep driveways so its not gonna very fun. Who cares tho its all for the good fitment tho... def. worth it!
